are u out to them? are u transitioning? if not it sounds like your dads just trying 2 be supportive without pushing it. like dropping a hint he knows somethings up and hes cool with it, but deliberately not doing anything different until you take the initiative and ask them to. my parents are like that, completely supportive but super hands-off cause they dont want to offend me or something lol
