What about it don't you like?
>>44257963Go to a stylist and see what advice they can offer for your hair type.
>>44257997It’s very thick and frizzy even if I use conditioner and a leave in everyday
>>44258052when you use conditioner rinse it out with very cold water then rub jojoba oil on your palms and run it across your hair
>>44258052For thickness you can always consider a textured cut. For frizziness, you'll need to try out different conditioners and leave ins to see what works, and maybe try a hair oil or a gel. Don't get suckered by expensive brands either, there are plenty of drugstore options that work perfectly well. And as has already been mentioned, wearing a bonnet to sleep will also help with frizziness, as will how you dry it.
>>44258108Usually how I dry my hair is by air if I’m not going anywhere or a diffuser since I read online that’s good for my hair type. The problem with drug store stuff is it’s hard to find something without sulfates in it but I need to shop around more. Right now I’m trying the not your mothers leave in and it’s definitely not heavy enough for my frizz. Same with the OGX and their bottles are getting smaller and more expensive.
>>44258160I have pretty similar thick wavy hair and I like the Garnier Fructis curls line, especially the conditioner/hair mask tub. So maybe give that a go if you haven't already. I use it as both conditioner and leave in, and then have a seperate curl cream as well. I believe the whole line is sulfate free. Also I meant layered not textured cut. Just ask your hairdresser about what you can do to make it less thick.
motherfuckers will watch 18 youtubes on how to build a PC but won't watch one female hair care tutorial and be like "nobody ever taught me what to do"
>>44258233There is so much conflicting information about wavy and curly hair and ten billion products to pick from
>>44258223I’ll try it next time I go to the store thank you anon.
>>44258268Not really? Plenty of videos and articles talking about the curly girl method, essential oils, hair masks, etc, and just whatever tips they personally use for the physical care for it. This thread itself has some decent advice like sleeping in a silk bonnet.
