I went to a burlesque show today and I fucking saw the whole queer joy thing people are constantly talking about.I fucking saw it. I was finally in a space where there was absolutely no questions about what or who I am, holy fuck it was fucking beautiful.The show itself was excessive, oversexualized, gouache, and stupid but in a good way.And then I left and within an hour was getting stares on the train for being a tranny again and getting mean comments within 4.I dont get why cissies are so fucking insistent on stamping out every single ounce of color from the world? Why are they so insistent on being one singular monolithic grey, childproofed mass that lives in an industrialized padded cell?
