Is trutrans even real? I’m on HRT but I fear that I am making the wrong decision? I am aware that in ideal world I would have been born a woman and would not be in the position I am in now, where I am doing something that I never thought I would do. I am not ugly for a man, not was I was ever that masculine. I’m 18 now. I just fear it’s not worth nuking my life and relationship with my family when my dysphoria has never been bad enough to cause me major distress. What if I have deluded myself into doing this? I know I can stop, but it feels like a lose-lose, where I have the capacity to ruin my life either way.
>>
Trutrans is a made up concept by gatekeepers, you can transition for any reason you want
>>
do you like the outcome? If yes, carry on. If not, stop.
That's it. that's all that matters. everything else is bullshit.
'trutrans', 'faketrans', agp, hsts none of that matters because none of that is real.
>What if I have deluded myself into doing this?
what if you're deluging yourself into stopping?
sorry anon, welcome to adulthood. real life is full of uncertainties.
>nuking my life
oh stop the drama. you aren't nuking your life by taking some hormones, that's ridiculous.
you take estrogen, not cracked cocaine.
>and relationship with my family
grow up. you are an adult. you don't even have to tell them anytime soon, lol.
t. hrt femfag, started at 16; dad found out by accident 4 years later lol
>>

In hopes that it makes me less miserable? I wasn’t born a woman and being a troon isn't the same as being born right.

>you can transition for any reason you want
>>
>>44259875
if you think you can repress, you should. but if your dysphoria starts escalating or you think you lack the willpower to keep repressing forever you should probably just troon out bc it will most likely come out eventually anyway
>>
I don't know anymore. I thought I knew once, but now I'm really not so sure.
>>
>>44259934
This person is stupid. If you have identified gender feelings that would be assuaged by hrt, you absolutely need to shoot the shot of transitioning barring the absolute worst disincentives. My main avenue of concern isn’t physical aging, either. You should not risk hollowing out to avoid being cringe. When a repper refuses the last call of the Grim Trooner, their brain begins to soupify
>>
>>44259901
so is transition choice?
>>
>>44259968
of course it is. dysphoria is a motivator, AGP is a motivator, etc.
>>
>>44259968
It's no different than doing steroids. Some do it for increased libido - https://www.nytimes.com/2025/10/22/magazine/testosterone-women-health-sex-libido-menopause.html
Others do it for muscles (gymbros). Others do it to counteract some effects of aging.
Hormone (testosterone or estrogen) replacement therapy is a body modification hack at the end of the day.
>>
>>44259962
You and me both
>>
>>44259875
>I am aware that in ideal world I would have been born a woman
you are trutrans
>>44259901
trutrans just means having GD, gatekeeping is a separate thing
>>
>>44259875
> in ideal world I would have been born a woman
Logically impossible. You are defined by your birth and life experiences. Such a statement is as logically unsound as saying, if a square was a circle.

Your existence was doomed by definition. It could never be any other way.
>>
>>44260097
HOW TALL ARE YOU?
>>
>>44260104
Im 5’10’’
>>
>>44260097
I am well aware I would not be the same person were I born a woman. I wouldn't exist as I do now, I also know I wouldn’t be seeking solace from 4chan about how I am worried that trooning out will ruin my life, so seems like it would be a net positive, especially seeing that not having been born is a decent second option.
>>
>>44259969
>>44259979
is being gay a choice?
>>
>>44259969
>>44259979
just sp you guys are aware. these people are transphobes. they think transition is a choice because they don't understand gender dysphoria as a medical condition. they don't have it.

to them, transition is cosmetic like dying your hair rather than therapeutic like taking insulin for diabetes.

if you ever wonder why the trans debate was lost, it's because people like this were allowed to lead the movement.

they're transphobic because they don't understand the condition and apply irrationality to it. meaning, because they dont understand the psychological component of ego they think the pursuit is frivalous.
>>
>>44260128
For some it probably is. Just like for some being a straggot is a choice. That's when we're talking about attraction. The behavior certainly is.
I don't remember choosing to be attracted primarily to men. But of course I chose to date and have sex only with men.
>>
>>44260148
you can still defend transmedicalism and let people transition for whatever reason they want tho
>>
>>44260148
>to them, transition is cosmetic like dying your hair rather than therapeutic like taking insulin for diabetes.
why can't it be both tho? because you say so?
i also find it funny when i'm called a transphobe just because i don't subscribe to this rigid dogma that the only reason one transitions is because of a medical condition. heaven forbid some might want it for other reasons.
it will never cease to be funny to be called a transphobe as a post op tranny.
>>
>>44260169
>i can't be transphobic, i'm post op
pics or it didn't happen.
>>44260164
because that's oxymoronic. can an animal be bith a dog and a cat at the same time? no. it's either medically necessary treatment like fixing a cleft pallet, or it's just cosmetic like rich white girls getting a nose job.

idk if you guys like paying 50k out if pocket for ffs, but encouraging cosmology pushes procedures like ffs out of reach for impoverished communities. you undermine the success of your own community.

the point is identity is immutable. many of you identify as trans and not as a sex.
>>
>>44260120
>especially seeing that not having been born is a decent second option.
If you feel that shit about it then I'd say go for it, sounds like your life isn't going that great anyway.
>>
>>44260169
>the only reason one transitions is because of a medical condition. heaven forbid some might want it for other reasons.
im yet to find someone who doesnt fit the gender dysphoria criteria and has had a successful transition
>>44260208
>because that's oxymoronic.
explain to me how saying that to be transgender you need GD and that it is alleviated by transitioning while also defending that anyone can become a transsexual without experiencing gatekeeping for whatever reason they want is oxymoronic
>>
>>44260255
just stop. you're setting people up for failure. if they don't believe they're women innately, no amount of transition will convince.
>>
>>44260255
Things are well materially, I just don't feel fulfilled in my day to day life. Like it’s impossible to put in as much effort into things as I know I should. Its a very first world problems scenario yk?
>>
>>44260208
>post your srussy or else bad faith anon won't believe me
yeah, no.
>encouraging cosmology pushes procedures like ffs out of reach for impoverished communities
LOL.
Quite the opposite, in fact. Demand drives competition and innovation and pushes price down. FFS is way cheaper (even nominally, let alone adjusted for inflation) and better than it was in say 2011. Not to mention way more options.
>the point is identity is immutable
This is an ideological point. Identity is far more malleable than most are willing to even consider.
And the only way this ideological talking point is maintained is by purposefully marginalizing and censoring anyone who dares to break it. And the talking point is very useful both for the extremists who run 'the community' and for its fake opposition because this way they get to police queerness together.
>>
>>44260264
>im yet to find someone who doesnt fit the gender dysphoria criteria and has had a successful transition
That's because it is social and political suicide to admit it. Both the supposedly "pro-trans allies" and the transphobes absolutely need to have "the official criteria" because otherwise it would be way too much freedom that none of the "sides" could control.
>>
>>44260266
I don't think that's the make or break factor though.

>>44260277
I suppose it's about how bad you feel about shit, and what sort of things do you expect to get better.
>>
>>44259875
>>44259901
Truetrans is real. There is real biological evidence for it among those that successfully live out their lives as women post transition. You can always take HRT for any reason but you will never be the same. The same way that you can hypothetically get chemo for any reason but you won't be a real cancer patient. TERF and transphobic arguments will try to say that they're the same, trutrans and transmaxxers are all the same, but that is really just transphobia. They will also say if they're not the same then trutrans are also not the same as women. That is also transphobia and conceptually incorrect since the classes of concepts are incorrect. Trans women are women with a trans medical disorder. Men on HRT are men on HRT. Learn the difference and you will understand why it is transphobic to say it's not real.
>>
>>44260264
because it's the same as being gay. being gay isn't a choice. some people are just gay. that doesn't mean straight people are never bi curious or experiment. sucking one dick doesn't make you gay. sometimes you have to suck a dick to find out you don't like sucking dick. that's part of sexual exploration during maturation to come to a conclusive orientation.

anyone can take hormones or get surgeries or whatever. just as anyone can suck a dick. the question isn't the malleability of the human body, but the psychology behind identity.

men don't cut their dicks off. why? because they identify with it as men as it's a primary characteristic of the male sex. people that identify as trans rather than a sex are like hipsters or emo's or any other alternative type of social caste. they identify as trans and see trans as a revolution against the strictly enforced gender norms the patriarchy inflicts on society because they've pushed this demedicalization narative. these people equate it to being a choice because they see being gay as a choice in a similar fashion. just because they're on your team so to speak, does not mean they aren't ignorant.

when we call people like hasan the maga of the left it's because you reflect an equal level of ignorance as you push rhetoric based on feelings rather than facts.
>>
>>44260289
it is. look how many complain ffs was a failure. that's because they memed themselves into transition. if you see a man in the mirror, then you identify as one.
>>
>>44260289
Actually being able to put effort into looking good for myself would make me feel at least a little happier. Looking back I have been at least a bit dysphoric for ages, when I was 10 or 11 I remember imagining meeting myself as a female, not that i could really know whether that is normal or not?
>>
>>44260303
you didnt explain how it is oxymoronic. you just explained what GD is and ended up agreeing with me
>>
>>44260321
when you look in the mirror, what do you see?
>>
>>44260308
>look how many complain ffs was a failure. that's because they memed themselves into transition.
hahahaha get real
>>
>>44260308
They may have memed themselves into transition or ffs but that doesn't entirely explain why they did so.
>if you see a man in the mirror, then you identify as one.
So nobody can have dysphoria or what? I'm not sure how this logic follows, why even transition if you already see a woman

>>44260321
Why do you expect HRT would be able to do that? Like anyone can put effort into it so why HRT?
>>
>>44260300
>There is real biological evidence for it among those that successfully live out their lives as women post transition
And I'm sure you have incontrovertible evidence that 100% of those fit your narrow definition of 'trutrans' and none of them is a trannymaxxer because you say so and you're the supreme arbiter of trannyhood.
It just so happens that if one admits with one's real name to being a trannymaxxer, then that person will be shunned by all and a successful life is made impossible.
Gee, I wonder what happens when you incentivize people to lie.
The reason informed consent appeared was precisely because a significant minority (at the very least) simply looked up the "correct" answers in the assessment form and would lie to get what they want.
>>
>>44260330
because we don't fund cosmetic elective procedures.
if you support non-medicalized treatment, then you're saying trans healthcare isn't healthcare. if it's nit healtcare, it's not a human right.
>>
>>44260332
Not a great deal, I see the same person I have seen for years. I see a mixture of my masculine and feminine traits, I remember when I was younger seeing my lower back and thinking it looked like that of a woman. Now I will see my browbone and think it is that of a man, then my eyes which are effeminate and think they are pretty. I have completely lost the ability to perceive myself, if i ever had it. I don’t understand what you mean by see a woman/man, I currently look more masculine than feminine.
>>
>>44260344
>I'm sure you have incontrovertible evidence that 100% of those fit your narrow definition of 'trutrans' and none of them is a trannymaxxer because you say so and you're the supreme arbiter of trannyhood.
nta
not 100%, but it is well studied yes
>>
>>44260341
because you see a woman and society sees a man. the mismatch of viewpoints us what drives them to correct features they feel society is scrutinizing them over. the point of transition is assimilation and acceptance by peers.
dysphoria is that mismatch causing distress because they feel perpetually persecuted by a society that does not see them for who they are.
>>
>>44260341
If i looked enough like a woman then i can present as one and put effort into it. I am boymoding rn, i have booked laser and will reevaluate after that.
>>
>>44260355
you're lying. quit your bullshit.
it should be one word. what's your knee jerk reaction.
>>
>>44260361
sounds like social dysphoria to me then, I guess bottom surgery and stuff is not necessary?
>>
>>44260351
thats good. i dont support universal healthcare and dont believe healthcare is a human right
>>
>>44260380
social dysphoria is a meme, not a health condition. that's just what gender dysphoria is.

what's the icd for social dysphoria?
where is it in the dsm?
it's not?

stfu you hasanabi cuck
>>
>>44260372
I do not see a man. I just don’t look enough like a woman to delude myself.
>>
>>44260370
I guess if you are ok with permanently growing tits and understand the infertility risk and issues with your dick and those are worth the hrt (or even otherwise desirable), then maybe you'll be fine
>>
>>44260385
do you believe people have a right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness? because healthcare falls under life you disingenuous prick.
>>
>>44260401
sorry but I actually hate having a dick even if I'm never showing it to other people
>>
>>44260416
so you see yourself as a man. cool. not trans. next patient.
>>
>>44260419
>because healthcare falls under life
are you dumb?
>>
>>44260426
why?
>>
>>44260434
are you?
counter the claim or ask for more clarification. otherwise. it is you that is the retard.
>>
>>44260448
im the retard you won
>>
>>44260442
because it feels foreign in my body, like an extra appendage that doesn't belong
>>
>>44260359
>not 100%
well, we're making progress. we admit that trannymaxxers do in fact exist.
>well studied yes
>looks inside
>surveys
that's not incontrovertible evidence, nona. 10lb of shit is not better than 1lb of shit. It's still shit.
>>
>>44260303
>men don't cut their dicks off
I doubt I'll be the first one, desu.
>>
>>44260830
