it's been a big adjustment for me. not because i fail to fit in as a woman exactly, but it is strange adapting to people treating you as if you were female rather than as a tranny. i think this probably varies by country but where i live men treat women a certain way and that gets expressed through lots of very subtle things, and i often disrupt those social scripts because its not entirely familiar to me. its like i know the script but have to consciously follow it and sometimes mess up. i also sometimes comes across as naive or reckless i think
