They literally describe being nonbinary but they say they'd rather die than be enby, why? It's all about being yourself and if yourself really looks like the other gender then what's the difference? Peer pressure is dumb imo, most of us are doomed to never be normie anyway.
>>
>>44345260
it seems cringe to say im nonbinary as a twenty eight year old adult
>>
>>44345281
That's why I don't openly identify as such outside trustworthy environments (or in this case anonymous)
>>
>>44345281
I'm 25 and just let people address me however they want, as long as they get my name right. Some friends know I'm enby but I usually don't disclose it cuz I think the beauty of it is leaving things up to interpretation.
>>
>>44345260
bc true nonbinary is to not associate with a label
>>
>>44345260
Enbies have different definitions then most of us and the definitions they use either miss the point entirely or are vaguely insulting. Trannies obsess with passing becouse we know gender is not about identity it is about the assumptions others make. Transexuals do not bother themselves with gender becouse we think of transitioning as a process you undergo. Gender being based on your feewings is very "i havent put any deep throught into this topic". Honestly enbies seem super childish and wishful which is why they are typically young women or autistics. Ontop of that their definitions of things are picked up by the mainstream and constantly used fo mock trans women which has caused a certain amount of animosity. Lastly id be fine with enbies if they were true gender nihlists but everyone iv met irl have done nothing to actually reflect and overcome their own ingrained gender and they make all the same assumptions that cis people do that force you into a binary gender role. They do this while claiming to be trans as well which is so tone deaf id raher just not be around them. I hope this helps. no insult intended<3
>>
>>44345355
how does one start letting go of labels? asking for myself, being an autist that wants to categorize too many things even outside of gender, it's difficult
>>
>>44345260
Personally I think it's too vague. Calling yourself an enby means you get lumped in with theyfabs and *shudders* eugh... theymabs. I'm on estrogen due to dysphoria, I like my penis and I'm not agp. I think trans fem describes it better but also still too broad a term as that tends to include trans women. And trans women don't like me because I do not share their dysphoria for my primary sex characteristics. Really we need more words detached from blanchardism to properly categorize tranner subtypes but this board refuses to divorce from the idea.

I'm a tranny so it's something I've really though too much about, I realize I feel more like a gay boy but understand that people will probably just see me as a straight girl generally. Getting hrt helped fix most of my dysphoria but I guess it's hard for people to see me as a neutral thing from the outside? Idk it is what it is, I feel less dysphoric not trying to be a woman but still being effeminate.
>>
>>44345400
In pursuit of being a neutral thing, all I want soon is orchi, which my doctor is writing for me this week. I feel you on not relating to most trans girls who are just effortlessly feminine and womanly. My dysphoria was more dissociative and I didn't really understand why I couldn't look myself in the mirror for a while. I thought everyone was in on Blanchard being a joke but I guess a lot of people are pretty stupid huh?

Oh if ur trans i think my response is a little different. A lot of trans people dont feel like the gender they prefer. Part of that is how much u are accepted by the public as that gender. Part of it is not having a community like a sisterhood to nurture those feelings (this happens to women to and they become tomboys or pickmes). But either way its important to know that identity isnt just something that is inate it is something you build with experiences. You have to go out in the world as a woman and have woman experiences to feel like a woman. It feeds back into itself. If you have parts of yourself that you think dont fit into that category you have to process it like it's trauma. A lot of trans people are the most transphobic person you know even if its just subconsciously. Having rigid catagories that do not work in practice is harmful and demands reevaluation. For example i dont need to think im a woman in the same sense a cis woman is becouse that does not honor my actual life experiences. I am a trans woman. I am fine with approximating a woman with artificial hormones becouse that is true. I dont need to think or act exactly like a cis woman becouse im not trying to trick anyone. I dont think the finer details really matter like bones or all that nit picky garbage becouse i am not attached to those claims. It takes a lot of mental hygiene. If you are fine with being an enbie then it works for you and theres mo problem. But i think to a lot of trans women that is admiting defeat

Idk I'm dysphoric so I transitioned but I'm not aiming to become a woman. I'm on hrt and had nullo and top surgery

You can be transexual without being transgender. That's what the whole "cis man on hrt" and some moders are about
>>
are you five years old

>Sorry i fucked the last reply up
>>
>>44345558
I don't really see myself as a man either, but yeah my presentation is closer to a boy/manmoder and I just let people gender me how they see me. It's only in formal contexts like schooling and workplace where my legal gender becomes relevant (no third gender option available and I don't think I'd take it because it's too othering)

>>44345583
Why would u even see urself as a gender? The self to itself is a abstract thing. Idt many people feel deep down that their gender is inherent to their being. Its at a higher level then that. Like intrasocial
>>
>>44345400
if we make up more words we're just gonna loop back to 2010 and 50 genders since no way you're actually fitting trannies into 1-3 subtypes
>>
>>44345583
in legal and bureaucratic contexts I also just roll with "woman" lol it's a lot easier that way

>>44345528
I think that's largely it, the experiences. My experience in life has felt largely androgynous and I know universally people see me as a sweet, gentle, and quiet person, even before transition. It doesn't feel like the way people treat me has changed so much aside from being a little more amicable with strangers and occasional compliments when I'm wearing my cute clothes this summer. There's no women in my life to have taught me anything about being a woman, so I guess that's why I still remain boyish in some ways. It's weird.
>>
>>44345629
If the community could be honest and tie the definition to transgender to at minimum having a naturally occurring dysphoria and seeking some medical transition I think we could do it.
>>
>>44345619
No idea, but I feel too much resistance to the idea of being a man or a woman. I'm physically transitioning to feel better with myself and my body, while avoiding being a hassle socially so I avoid talking about this
>>
>>44345260
I don't want to be a tranny
I don't want to be enby

I'm in the same boat as you, just live and let live and all that

No one actually believes natural dysphoria is a thing.
