I stopped going to church and Bible study because they will never meaningfully address the issue of alphabet people, A, and B I'm tired of being someone's pity project. Oh look a tranny I'll definitely get good girl points for bringing her to God (she already knows about God? Uhhh keep quiet play along).
It's so dehumanizing.

I never understood the hate of christian people toward transgender women or the mere consideration that they are on sin or that they are not women.
See, it is reasonable for a christian to believe that homossexuality is a sin (even though this can also be questioned and better hermeneutics can be approached to the versicles supposedly about homossexuality) since there is many verses and reasonable translations on them that seems to condemn homossexuality, and also, for a catholic, the Catolic Church explicitly says that homossexuality is a mortal sin as a moral dogma, and if you consider that the early fathers are also part of Apostolic Tradition, they also usually would say that homossexuality is a sin. BUT THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT TRANS.
The only 2 versicles about it is one about transvestites/crossdressers and one that states that God created male and femalr.
But about the first, it relies mostly on your vision towards gender metaphysics, and it seems pretty reasonable for me that if you conceive gender as a certain wittgensteinian family resemblance between sexual (or even social) characteristics, it seems a trans women can be a women other than just a transvestite since she can participate in the chain of resemblances of what is a 'woman' due to this category not possessing a single absolute distinctive characteristic but either just a bunch of properties in a chain of resemblances between each other that makes our intuition says "Oh, that's a woman!". So if you see trans women as women (what is pretty reasonable), then this versicle just don't affect them (or trans men btw).
And the transgender "theory" or at least a more conservative one does not necessarily rejects "male" and "female", we can just say that we are transitioning through this sexes (in this sense, gender is reduced to sex and we are transing sexes other than 'genders' or 'identities'), and not rejecting the existence of them. Even in a more woke view of gender that accepts non-binarism +

It's because they're mostly just hateful people who then use religion to justify their existing prejudices.
>>
I started praying a bit since I started transitioning, under my breath or in quiet moments, it's more of a mental thing for me, but I really hope God can help me out a little bit, I think they've already helped me out with some of my prayers when I was a kid, so I just kinda hope the phone line is still working

You can still argue that these "non-binary" gender are just variations or mixes of "male" and "female" (like bigender), or you can argue that the verse only states a quantification of two, but not a exclusive quantification of two, see, the verse says God created male and female, but frim this you can not infer that he created ONLY them.
Also, there is no early father in the apostolic tradition that states something about transexualism, the only citations you could bring are also about tranvestites/crossdresses (and I think it was from Ambrose).
And if you're catholic, for a long time ago the church didn't state nothing (at least ex cathedra) about transgenderism. It was only recently with Franciscus that something was said about it, but if you read the document, he was only against wokeism views of gender, but as I said, a more conservative view of gender and transexualism can deal with that easily. Also, in the document it is said that the transition of intersex people is explicitly allowed, and I see no reason to not argue that trans people aren't some kind of interse, whether physiological intersex or neurological intersex (this distinction is also arbitrary, your neurology is also your physical body), and therefore trans people are explicitly allowed to transition.
Also you could argue that trans people were unknown until nowadays and that's one of the reason they were not referenced, but that's just false, history shows that plenty of us existed and were recognized in many forms, and even now with the supposed recognition there is still no reason to say we are on sin. +

Also, there is a explicit distinction between moral problems and ontological problems, see, it is not because robbering is a sin that it can't happen, also, it is not because transition is supposedly immoral that trans women can not fully turn into "real" women.
They could just transition commiting a sin, and when the sin is done, there is not too much what to do about it since the person turned into a women even if through sin, there is no reason for the person to revert the transition once it is done, and once it is done the effect is permanent and the person inherit the moral duties of a women. The act of being trans or being a women is not a sin, even if the process of transition could be supposedly a sin.
>>
>>44404416

You could also say "Even though you can turn into a women, God created you to be a men, so be it"
But this is utterly non-sense, see, there is no way to verify why he created you as a men or not, or if he wanted you to be a men or stay a men forever, it is utterly blasphemous and sinful to assume God's intentions. You could also just say "He created me as a men with the exact intention of me turning into a women, so the difficulties of being trans could be used for me to grow as a soul and in santity", most of the saint through the history were given a bunch of problems with sins and horrible situations that they and God used to improved themselves and become saint people, why couldn't use it on you through your unmatched gender identity and gender transition?

It seems most of the problems come from incorrect associations of trans people with gay/queer people when we are not the same, at least not always. A trans women can be heterosexual or even be on celibate until her death (in this sense any moral natural theology about her sexuality would vanish since she doesn't even get into romantic or sexual relationships).
