is my girlfriend autistic? whenever i make an obvious joke, she takes it completely seriously until i literally say "i'm joking." she gets mad and lectures me when i exaggerate like "i'm never doing that again" or "that was the worst thing ive ever seen." if i mess around and pretend (in a funny way) to be upset with a bad driver or something, she yells at me to calm down, even if i was laughing and smiling and not hurting anybody. we had a fight last night because i said something hyperbolic offhand then immediately clarified it several hours earlier in the day.im not constantly joking around but i do like to make people laugh sometimes, not even in a mean or tonedeaf way. if she's autistic, id give her more benefit of the doubt. otherwise, it feels like she's angry at me all the time for no reason.>related to lgbt because im a transbian dating a woman
