My experience which I think a lot of passoids or near passoids share is that a man locked me down relatively early in transition. Now that I've had all my surgeries and am post transition, I get lots of propositions from men, but i'm already locked down by a man who wants to marry me. It sometimes feels like I didn't really get to "date as a woman"

Like with most things trans related, transitioning earlier is better than doing it later.

if youre not pretty and passing then yes, for healthy non abusive long term relationships at least. your only option for relationships like that is transbianism, and dating other trannies comes with its own drawbacks like other anons have mentioned, such as compounding mental illness.

if all you care about is sex then you can still get quite a bit of interest for short term stuff, maybe even more so if youre clocky (and pretty).

you have a lot more options if you are stealth and post op, as cis lesbians and straight men will be more open to dating you. which unfortunately is not an option for most of us :(

if you've enjoyed your experiences with dating as your birth gender, that's a negative signal for the question of whether whatever malaise you're feeling is "gender dysphoria", and whether trooning out would actually help you
