The odyssey seems like a decent movie until you realize that they took Calypso, a literal nymph and sex goddess who Odysseus fucked for 7 years straight and made her a bland sexless lady in rags using memory wiping drugs to keep him from leaving. Like I can understand some artistic choices but why was this movie so sexless. Why were the Trojans portrayed as anonymous faceless storm troopers. Why was zendaya in it for no reason.

Eliot page was great as sinon but th3 character was totally reconned/bowlderized from the aneid... because i guess it wouldn't be politically correct to have a trans male character have ANY bad qualities. I hate woke Hollywood shit so much but not because they piss chuds off but because they are too scared to actually utilize lgbt + bipoc cast for anything other than windows dressing. Eliot's a great actor give him a chance to show his depth!
