Get on finasteride NOW!There is zero excuse not to take it nowadays regardless of if you're a tranny, repper, pooner, or cis man. Maybe if you were a pregnant cis woman I'd give you some slack, but they aren't on this board.
>>44419120What if I'm a pregnant pooner
>>44419142Then I feel sorry for you.
>>44419142faketrans
>>44419153>>44419156I'd rather you suggest names for my upcoming prodigy instead of being so negative
>>44419181BALD like their fathers
>>44419120>There is zero excuse not to take itthe excuse not to take it is to take dutasteride instead
>>44419120Say hello to le brain fog. Use bicalutamide. Except cis man yeah.
>>44419204Based and I take dut as well, it's just more expensive and if you're a pooner fin is probably the better choice imo. Fin is the universal basic minimum for every demographic.>>44419215Haven't gotten this as a side effect personally, still would be worth it.
>>44419196Perfect and its middle name is going to be eagle
>>44419120No, I don’t think I will.
hair clinic I do reception for has been trying low-dose bica and finasteride for female alopecia. though I think bica is to offset minoxidil effects on body hair
>>44419241Zero fucking excuses faggot, GET ON IT!
>>44419238> still would be worth itTroons would say this and then write how they're womanly womenized and became dumb from having problems with neurosteroids.
>>44419275>low-dose bicaI wonder if I could convince my dermatologist to prescribe me this even though I'm a male repper. Also thinking about switching to oral minoxidil because applying it topically is a pain.>>44419303Troons are all retarded regardless and should have all their important life decisions made by their chaser bfs instead.
Fin saved my hair for years but I started thinning recently. I think it slows it down instead of stops it entirely. Hopped on oral min now to see if I can restore some thickness, and hoping to get some luscious lashes as a bonus. Never had any of the sides from Fin.t. cis guy
I was pregnant and I'm on this boardbut yes I am now back on finasteride lol
>>44419402>oral minHow that been for you? I'm thinking of taking it but kind of got scared away by the side effects on the heart and excessive body hair growth. Also try switching to dutasteride that might help, max dosage you can go to is 2.5mg per day.
I have autoimmune alopecia so even though I got on dutasteride at 18 I still lost all my fucking hairUpsides: little to no body hairDownsides: thin eyebrows and I have to wear a FUCKING WIG
>>44419120What is the benefit of fin if already on E?
>>44419487I'm sorry nona. Isn't there some medications like corticosteroids that help with this?>>44419523The benefit is that dht is poison and reducing it as much as possible will only have positive effects, especially if you're a tranny. Some people still bald on e because of the small residual amounts of dht.
>>44419461I've only been on it for maybe a month. Haven't had any of the sides regarding heart issues or edema or anything. For body hair I've noticed that the areas which I normally have it grows a bit faster, but I haven't had any new areas of body hair popping up (I've never had much body hair to begin with). Peach fuzz on my body is also getting longer interestingly, but is still practically invisible. Facial hair also grows faster. Still in the dread shed for my scalp. May change with more time on it. I already trim my body hair every week so not much has changed for me. I've been thinking about Dut but it's a bit more difficult to get than Fin.
>>44419699Thank you for the information anon, probably will end up taking low dose oral min just for the convenience. Also shouldn't be too difficult to get dut if you're already prescribed fin but maybe that's dependent on your location, I just asked my dermatologist for it. Try those telehealth services, otherwise it's pretty easy to diy from what I've heard.
too late foe me. I have pencil thin hairs. Save yourselves
>>44420034Take it anyway, there is zero reason not to. This isn't like hrt where you have to worry about passing or being clocked.
Is there a reason to take it if ur hair is good and ur on E?
>>44420139Refer to >>44419568
no, thanks, I take dutasterideBUT OP IS RIGHT 5ARIs ARE LIFE-CHANGING
is dutasteride okay?
>>44420160it's technically better just more expensive and/or less easily available
>>44420159>>44420160I am OP and I just took 1mg dutasteride. Dut is better but fin is the absolute bare minimum.
>>44420192Is there any reason to take both and should I increase my dut dose? I take .5 / day and I think it eventually started working but not fast enough to make me happy
