If we are ever going to be taken seriously, we all need to stop arguing from a point of "sex and gender are different". Yes, they are clearly distinct. But cis people will extrapolate from there to see us as men pretending to be women. Instead we should fight for the claim that sex CAN be changed because it CAN. If my phenotypical features are female, my hormonal balance is female, and I have no penis then goddammit I am a woman in terns of sex, not just gender. Therefore I am now a cis woman. Embrace being cis. Argue for being cis. We will not win by claiming to be women in our heads. Our bodies must also be that.And I'm not trying to be transmed, not intentionally. I agree that babytrans are also women. But I have to be pragmatic because we are LOSING using a playbook of "I'm a woman because women can be anything, its gender not sex. Im a male woman!"
