are normal people naturally normal or are they all trying to be normal? Frankly I think it’s that they’re putting in lots of effort to be normal. What makes someone weird is the lack of will to be normal

both tbhon
their natural baseline level of normality is higher than your average weirdos

this is due to them being neurotypical, so they naturally have a strong drive to fit in and it comes easily to them

they obviously do try to be normal too, but to them its not a conscious choice to be normal its more just theyre doing what they think theyre meant to

thats autism folks

I have a strong drive to fit in but im just too lazy to act on it. normal people seem to have a lot more motivation to fix their issues

thats the other part of it
neurodivergent people may have a strong desire to fit in but their baseline level of normality is so much lower

they literally just have a diminished capacity for being normal compared to a NT person

and obviously it varies from person to person, some autists stand no chance of fitting in even if they try their hardest, others can be relatively successful with high effort

how do I know if I’m NT or not
I’m completely isolated from society but I don’t really relate to autists
I kinda feel like if I had more help and motivation to fit in I would’ve been fine
