are normal people naturally normal or are they all trying to be normal? Frankly I think it’s that they’re putting in lots of effort to be normal. What makes someone weird is the lack of will to be normal
>>44447502both tbhontheir natural baseline level of normality is higher than your average weirdos this is due to them being neurotypical, so they naturally have a strong drive to fit in and it comes easily to themthey obviously do try to be normal too, but to them its not a conscious choice to be normal its more just theyre doing what they think theyre meant to
>>44447502thats autism folks
>>44447541I have a strong drive to fit in but im just too lazy to act on it. normal people seem to have a lot more motivation to fix their issues
>>44447571thats the other part of itneurodivergent people may have a strong desire to fit in but their baseline level of normality is so much lowerthey literally just have a diminished capacity for being normal compared to a NT personand obviously it varies from person to person, some autists stand no chance of fitting in even if they try their hardest, others can be relatively successful with high effort
>>44447586how do I know if I’m NT or notI’m completely isolated from society but I don’t really relate to autists I kinda feel like if I had more help and motivation to fit in I would’ve been fine
