Hey, any voice training experts have any tips for voice acting? I plan on using my voice more confidently on my YouTube channel and want some tips from the experts (those who've gotten good at voice training). I'm practicing my voices while playing visual novels, so I can do let's play with fluent voice readings. My family definitely hears me which is kinda embarrassing, but oh well. Cartoon/anime/actors all have this "natural" feel to their voice, like they ARE the character. I want to achieve that.

What are your exercises to sound more like a girl, and what are your tips for convincing acting? is voice training through visual novel acting a good way to practice?

Are you a tranner? Voice training is a lot different than voice acting, at least for me. It is more about finding something natural that can be done indefinitely rather than getting a particular result you have preplanned

Also, side note. Ever since I quit watching YouTube and mainstream slop, and started playing vidya/watching cartoons, I've been much happier. It's only been a day too!
my tip for anyone sad: CUT OFF ALL SOCIAL MEDIA AND DO SOMETHING THAT ENGAGES WIH YOUR MIND!! No YouTube (unless you're creating not consuming), no TikTok, no xitter, heck even no 4chan (limit it like I'm doing). You'll find yourself wanting to do more productive things.

I don't mean this in a joking way when I say: THE INTERNET AND ITS ALGORITHMS ARE DESIGNED TO KEEP PEOPLE FROM ACHIEVING THEIR GREATEST POTENTIAL. Limit your Internet usage to studying, learning, and crafting your hobbies. don't let the CIA break your mind.

Yes I am a tranner. I'm kinda trying to do both the voice training AND acting. They both have similar methods behind them I've noticed. though, you are right in that they ARE different things. But I believe I can practice both simultaneously. My theory is that One can help the other
