On hormones finally (because i couldn't stand my my muscles and hair growing, and the w i d e n i n g of second puberty) and anons keep telling me i should start thinking of myself as a woman because going on hormones means I am one, or something? Maybe this just means I'm faketrans. I want to be female and I will take steps to get as close to that as I can, but my brain just doesn't seem to grasp why this makes me a woman on some deeper level. In social settings, sure, call me whatever I look like. But this idea that I really am an actual literal woman is very difficult to grasp.

You say you don't feel like a woman on a deeper level, but do you feel like a man? I think very few people have a constant internal feeling of gender 24/7, even cis ppl. You know what gender you are based on patterns in occasional feelings of euphoria or dysphoria, and based on the treatment of those around you. If you fret too much on not having a constant internal feeling of gender, you get stuck in the trap of feeling like a disassociated gender-exile most of the time which isnt fun. Even cis women talk about feeling genderless sometimes and that's how I was for the first year and a half of E until one day I realized I had become a girl(and liked it) right under my own nose lolTL;DR there is a secret woman hiding inside from birth she's just very shy !
