It is strange how much of this is tied up in denial about self loathing. That we hate aspects of ourselves, but instead of learning to recognize we don't need to hate ourselves as there's nothing to hate, we set about justifying a change to some idealized version of ourselves. "I hate myself for being gay, i hate myself for being a man" to the point you dissociate yourselves and idolize anything seen as the opposite, and come up with any excuse under the sun to avoid being what you hate.But why hate it in the first place? It is simply a thing, a reality, it is like gravity. An asshole isn't a vagina, eroticism isn't by nature feminine. They are simply the function following the form. Everything else is just an idiosyncracy, an affectation, anthropomorphism. Which is curious when early on people arrived at an absolute truth if this, that gender roles are a social construct. So there is no truth to the idea that you are a woman in a man's body because the construct of who you are is simply that, a construct, you're a you in a meat suit.
