Or is it just me? I feel like I just went out and did more insane things more often before transitioning. I now feel way more comfortable in my body and existing in general, but I feel I've mellowed out a lot maybe even a little too much. Was it the power of horny that gave me more energy to be reckless or what? To clarify, I do have motivation to do things I really want to do but I feel I'm less risky and would rather spend my days peacefully most of the time. It feels like everyone else in their 20s is full of energy and love going out all the time whereas I'm too chill and introverted half the time
i lifted weights my whole life before starting hrt and now i just ... don't really care. it's not from a desire to lose muscle or anything, the old drive that i couldn't explain is just not there anymorei think if you're still motivated to do the things you really want to do then what you're feeling is "normal" and "healthy"
>>44601689I just saw something about dopamine response related stuff in another thread and it just got me thinking. I feel like I must be a little lazier now or maybe my priorities have changed, Idk but it could be linked to this. Can't imagine my attitude changed that much though if everyone's impression of me is generally pretty similar as before.
For me it was the opposite I love to go out as a girl, I only get scared to leave my house when the dysphoria hits hard
i've had the same experienceE raped my energy and drive to do anything
>>44601593I have less energy and less ability to focus but I actually want to go out and socialize just to socialize
>>44604557My focus is good generally but a little wack some days because I don't have a schedule yet. I have a volunteer job coming up though that'll probably help me. Socializing feels great these days despite being an introvert, like I love being around people and chatting it usually makes my day better, I just have to return home for a chunk of time and I'll be okayDefinitely lower energy though, I'm wondering if it has to do with spiro or something
>>44605035The focus thing might just be because I developed a social media addiction around the same time I started HRT (anxious habit that replaced an ED).
>>44605075After transitioning I slowly gave up on instagram and uninstalled it. It feels like I'm missing out on the local zeitgeist but the shit is just so annoying to use now if it isn't in browser to look at a couple posts. I feel like more events should be posted in like emails newsletters and signal chats or whatever the fuck
