it kinda just makes me depressed
>>
genuinely yes. if you can be equally as happy as other people with far fewer things than they have then you win at life. i wish people saw gamers as people with the ability to entertain themselves in private rather than losers

yes, homeless people genuinely require so little its insane we don't just house them.

t. was homeless for years

Everything anti-autistic is anti-male and feminist, why? Because females are genetically 10x less likely to be autistic, constructed specifically be social and not autistic, and feminism and female opinions control men by nature
>>
Is it meta to be homeless to get cheap student housing

what is the reason that you said this

this bitch has more stuff than i do and im not homeless

what the fuck is wrong with you amerikkkans

wow that room is bigger than my apartment
seems like a waste of resources if other people are living on the street

Literally my situation starting a few days ago. I went to the psych ward and left my starbucks job, and shortly after I got out and started looking for new work I ran out of money and got outed to my parents and had to go back home to live with them. I was there for a year and it drove me crazy. My family didn’t accept me and I was suddenly severed from everyone else.
I’m back in the town I had left previously, living in a church shelter. I’m trying to get ready to rebuild my life, but I’ve started playing caves of qud a little bit whilst I settle in
>>
>>44603302
Very! Reminds me of tge time I started playing around with my desktop rig while sedan living. I would bring the tower and gear into the public library and be at absolute peace and joy.

it's cool ngl. i like minimalistic flats, those that have too much stuff in them make me uncomfortable
>>

That sounds so scary. I hope you find stable housing and things start falling into a good place for you soon.

>yes, homeless people genuinely require so little its insane we don't just house them.

>99% of homeless don't want to abide by the extremely lax shelter rules like "you can't do meth here because meth users freak out and destroy shit and steal and assault and rape"
>Big Homeless makes way, WAY more money treating homeless in the field. SF spends over $100k per coddled homeless.
>Having a few thousand homeless is very useful for the far left just like Antifa. They're used as the excuse for any tax, any new 'safety' regulation.
>>
I cannot understand how there are still homeless people in western countries given the amount of wealth these countries have. What caused these countries to let people die in the streets, chat?
>>
>>44603801
Oligarchy. These countries are projected to have a lot of wealth, but it’s all tied up in dragon hordes
>>
>>44603370

how do we abolish it and give a shelter to each citizen and basic stuff like healthcare, education and food?
>>
>>44603766
I don't feel the need to argue with your points, only to say: you don't understand how addictions start and how painful withdrawals are, and should know your place.
>>
>>44603912
Because, despite how beneficial that would ultimately be for the rich as well, it would make the gap of quality of life between rich and poor smaller and that would make the rich feel less superior to us.
>>
>>44603976
The question wasn't why we don't, it's how do we abolish that. I'm on board with abolishing it too, at this point in my life.
>>
>>44603976
I don't think anyone needs more than a million euro

shelters close at like 3 pm and kick you out at 6 am. it's basically not possible to hold any kind of job and stay at one.
>>
>>44603302
mogs me
and to think i'm paying for the privilege of living in this shithole
>>
>>44604112
Wow that is brutal. Working anything fulltime (the wage that actually allows you to escape homelessness these days) would mean you have exactly one hour to spend outside the shelter outside of work. And it would have to be 6:30 to 2:30, with either close proximity or reliable transportation, which I highly doubt can be done.
>>
>>44603801
the sleeping on the streets homeless are only there because they want to be or are too mentally ill to be accept help
>>
>>44604278
Addictions are expensive. Have you tried buying a carton of smokes? Holy oy, my wallet hurts just ringing some addicts up. And the illegal ones....real rough stuff.
>>
>>44604278
not true, especially in the US
>>
>>44603801
>given the amount of wealth these countries have
1% of the people own 99% of the money sure we're "rich" country wise but at the individual level most people live paycheck to paycheck
>>
>>44603302
If people from other countries could go to NYC and put on 5 star hotels, then that tranny can get a jail cell sized apartment.

I was homeless for a few years, never even tried looking at a shelter because I'm so used to nobody actually helping
that seems like a nice room, I hope she can find a real place of her own to live in soon

That's a cope for women who want to be hecking valid as autists and don't like being told they have less symptoms, so a pooner came up with the term masking to gaslight people about how the symptoms are the same, so they're better (but also society's victims, important) for being able to hide their symptoms and shame anyone who has visible stereotypical symptoms (especially men)

It looks nice but I would be worried about people stealing my stuff
>>
>>44605543
No it's mostly just medical studies only being done on men without considering that men and women don't function the same in all contexts.
>>
>>44603766
>99% of homeless don't want to abide by the extremely lax shelter rules like "you can't do meth here because meth users freak out and destroy shit and steal and assault and rape"
I've worked at a shelter and this is completely true, except even the shelters are having to never actually enforce that rule because otherwise they'd lose their entire customer base and by proxy all of their ludicrous state funding the people working or living there will never see a penny of. Homelessness assistance is a giant racket and everyone makes more money from them being drugged out animals with no future than them being functional citizens that have value. It's as fucked up as the therapy industry.
>>
>>44605601
>this

I read once that if LA could just pay for studio apartments at market rate for all the homeless people in the city and reduce annual spending on homelessness by hundreds of millions of dollars.

However American homelessness is really just a mental health and drug problem disguised as a housing problem. If all homeless were like OP and just played hoi4 in their section 8 then the country would be a lot better off.
>>
>>44603302
i was supposed to get one of these but bitch never reached out again for months.
luckily i no longer live in a shelter

The context is that female genetics specifically prevent the markers of autism which means… they just don’t have autism
>>
>>44603801
Addiction mostly.
The city's fund for homeless rents them a room.
Then they get kicked out for using hard drugs and creating mayhem.
Addiction also stems from untreated mental illness. The help is there, but you can't force people to take their meds.
>>
>>44606073
would you point out how this happens exactly
or did you just make this up
>>
reminder that autism isn’t actually a real thing

based on what?

>>44603801
The country isnt rich, the masters are. In the UK 40% of the population have less than £1000 in savings.

A pizza is £25
>>
I remember when i was homeless, just like OP, worse actually as i had nothing, slept in my coat.

It sucks but it does get better, just takes a few years of suffering

Trannies are actually based because they force women out of male hobbies someone needs to add two-three more panels to that comic of one of the fed up guys bringing in a tranny and then 4 more appear and the women leave and the dudes leave and it's just trannies and nerdy men and then the trannies suck the nerdy guys cocks while they play cards
>>
>>44603801
at least ~1/3 of any given country's population are moralfag fascists that love suffering and are entirely resistant to empirical evidence.
>>
>>44603976
>>44603854
>rich people
it's actually the hordes of hitlerite middle class scum out there. despite the worrying direction many countries are going in, america/europe isn't like russia (well, technically russia isn't an oligarchy either but w/e)
>>
>>44603766
I don't drink or do any drugs. not all homeless people are freaks. we need buckets.

I will say I never stayed at shelter because they had creepy weird rules and curfews that seemed designed to get you assaulted or raped and never have a job.
>>
>>44603967
Shut up. Any addiction can be beaten easily, addiction isn't even real, it's juat gluttony. There is no evidence of withdrawals, it's just cravings. Get over it.
>>
>>44611382
LOL
>>
>>44611382
true. however, the underlying issues driving addiction behaviors are often more complex and a stable living situation and safety are prerequisites for beginning to solve them.
>>
>>44611357
I saw a twitter thread full of comments about how they hate the homeless and love torturing them etc. and the only clear difference in financial status was that they had jobs. Like if your employer didn't give you a job you'd be homeless too
>>
>>44611393
People who have addictions should just be executed. They contribute nothing, and ending the problem there would save a lot of money. The world is getting tough, and we need to crack down on weakness.
>>
>>44603801
The threat of homelessness is the cudgel that forces people into undesirable jobs.

>>44611420
you are a sociopath
>>
>>44611402
it's not even that. even if you do feel revulsion toward the homeless, the most rational thing to do would be to support things like housing first and unconditional cash transfers, which are at this point as solidly proven as it can get in social sciences and much cheaper than the equivalent you end up spending in police and healthcare resources. but of course, they do not, because they think that suffering is good and necessary.
>>
A LOT of tranners are one bad month away from homelessness. It’s just what happens when your family disowning you and employment/housing discrimination are common
>>
>>44611433
No I mean things like offering to pay for meals and then going nope or saying here's $5 and then saying never mind if they don't lick your asshole for it like you are god
>>
i was a homeless tranner 15 years ago im glad she got a place since i imagine it must be so much worse now. i feel the same when i see girls doing sex work, back then just being on e at 20 put you in the top 1% of cute trannies and there might be like 10 in ur city who did sw and didnt have aids but now it must be so much harder to actually make any money.
