>>44613152neither but everyone is beyond retarded so explaining complex topics is nearly impossible to them. the simple answer is it depends and often a combination of both. the actual answer is within your subconscious you have these things called schemas which are the way your brain classifies and interprets information. attraction isn't directly based on sex but your own schema of the sex you are attracted to. for most this is primarily secondary sex characteristics in attraction to women because that is for most the thing they are primarily exposed to in relation to the concept of female and they interpret these to be of their female schema, but primary can also play a role it is just commonly less significant. maleness on the other hand has been more heavily linked to the phallus as a defining feature due to the fact in common speech and culture we refer to the two interchangeably (ie small penis jokes to insult masculinity) making the primary sex characteristics more valued in attraction to males than females due to higher level of association, although secondary still plays a major role. This is why in male attracted sexual conversations (gay men and straight women) there is typically heavy focus on the penis, while in female attracted sexual conversations the focus is primarily on butt and boobs.
I think the attraction part is associated with the perceived idea of one's sexuality. But the sexual orientation is sex based.So you could be gay, see a twink, get hard from the curves, see no pp, find out it was a girl, get turned off.
