How do you feel about those people that say they’re straight, maybe even are married, but every thing about the way they carry themselves and talk and act and are just screams gay 24/7? There’s this weird social pressure to play along with them and pretend that they aren’t obviously gay, pretend that being gay doesn’t have clear physical markers and that a “straight” person having all of them doesn’t mean anything. To reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. To me it feels like I’m being asked to actively be homophobic towards a mentally unwell gay person. I can never stay in contact with these people because they always inevitably have some kind of recurring psychological breakdowns or addiction issues, but flip out at you if you bring up the fact that they’re biologically homosexual and harming themselves every day they pretend otherwise.
If all closeted gay people were forced out, homophobia would decline precipitously. The only reason homophobia can hold power over gays is because we let it.

But there are some things people can do before less harmful and more efficient ways of reproduction through technology become cheaper and more mainstream than reproduction through piv. The same way as racial stereotypes don't define all the people from a certain race and everyone should be allowed to divorce their self from such stereotypes. But "straight" men don't want this. Most of the people who are able to come to this realization, do so by climbing the hierarchy that they continue to benefit from, so they have no incentive to dismantle or expose it. Having the dialogue only helps those who want to be helped, and even then people have to learn by trial and error for themselves since gender is so personal and sexual competition is so deeply embedded in society. Most have Stockholm Syndrome so I don't think anything will really change until that technological inflection point. It'll be great though, once everyone can reproduce asexually, gender expression will become a lot more authentic. Just imagining it does a lot to show how embarrassing it is how people are so desperate for not only the negotiation of sex itself but orienting their entire lives around making the negotiation itself come off as less desperate.
