When you were a kid, did you watch other boys play without being able to feel like one of them?Did you lack fatherly love and support?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJur1jDGlqE
extremely low quality thread
>>44613720i aint watching all that shit, give me a TLDR
>>44613720Yes to both. I ended up a troon too with MEF.
kitchen window boys with refrigerator mothers and toaster-oven fathers
>>44613845Basically, it's the theory that homosexuality comes from the lack of fatherly love and support (with optional trauma of violence or rape), therefore siding with the mother and spending time in a feminine environment. Then, because of this, not being able to bond with other boys, then idealizing other boys, what they do and their body.Without going into the conversion therapy part, because i don't believe in that. Once you're fucked up, you're fucked up.
>>44613926It’s silly because the effeminacy associated with homosexuality is detectable from before socialisation and is often harshly punished by parental figures. It is socialisation-resistant, not socialisation-caused.
>>44613940It's the dilemma of the chicken or the egg.Did the boy become effeminated because of the lack of father, or did the father reject the boy because he was effeminated? It can be a mix of both validating each other gradually.
>>44613720>5 minutes in guy says conversion therapy worksHard to take this shit seriously now.
>>44613961The biological explanation has the most scientific evidence behind it. Most sex differences are biological. Men and women behave differently because of their genes and hormones. If you believe this, the same goes for gays and dykes being shifted in the other direction
>>44613962I don't believe therapy works for this or any childhood trauma desu.It doesn't mean that the initial theory is wrong.
>>44613967>The biological explanation has the most scientific evidence behind it.What evidence? A gay gene?
>>44613976I'll watch some more but you can understand why I don't want to bother right
find a story that helps you to keep going and hopefully to also find others that accept you for who you arefor me it is the path of the hermit
>>44614018Yeah that's ok, it just sounds true for my life, i wanted to know if others relate.>>44613864 does
>>44613926im a tranny but my childhood was like this
>>44614322Once you're gay or a tranny, you can't change what you are, because they are feelings and sexual attractions, not something intellectualized. But in a way, the entire rest if your life is like reaffirming your trauma again and again. It's giving power to that trauma over your life.
Well yes but, my father was almost never home and when he was he would force me to go out and play with the kids, what I always found weird and later sad is that he preferred to play with other kids, specially my cousins, I remember the day I gave up on him, I was in my room watching tv and playing with my toys when I heard laughs, went to his room and one of my cousins, one that he knew treated me like shit, was there playing with him, I don't know what, I didn't know how to react or what to do so I went back to my room to continue watching tv, I was still anxious, couldn't continue playing, my brother was still in his stroller, he was running around the house when I got the great idea of "pranking" him, I filled a bowl with dish soap and used the mega rig space shuttle transporter helicopter's hook well, as a hook, went out to call him into my room but for some reason, maybe divine intervention or my own stupidity the moment I crossed the door I completely forgot about the hook and the bowl with dish soap fell on me, as it was falling I looked up and all of that shit got into my nose and throat, it burned like hell, went straight to my father asking for help and they just laughed at me, took a long shower, I had to "inhale" water through my nose and bubbles kept coming out, it hurt so bad but they never took me to see a doctor, now the smell of chemicals hurts my nose badly.I don't have any other memories about my father other than having to carry him upstairs whenever he came home drunk which happened very frequently, when he accidentally cut his veins, and when he got mad that I didn't invite him to my highschool graduation then he played victim and I got scolded hard by my mother.Looking back it was clear that I was trying to get his attention, and I don't blame him for disliking me, I know he tried but what kind of man wants a "son" like me.
>>44614502>I don't blame him for disliking me, I know he tried but what kind of man wants a "son" like me.That's a crazy thing to say. All children deserve to be loved and you deserved to be loved.Clearly, your father was toxic.
>>44613720>distant father>disliked rough play and stayed at home around my helicopter mother>got kicked out from a male-only group in middle school because i was perceived as a "pussy"T. Bi trans
>>44613720goddamn abrahamics are so fucking senile>"why yes, I used to be gay but god doesn't like that so I had to change myself for him or else I will burn in hell forever despite the fact he made me that way by setting in motion all the traumatic events that led to me developing faggotism">"isn't god just so swell and great?"
I'm starting to believe that re-education camps were and are necessary
>>44613926retarded, I didn't live with my parents for most of my life and people knew I was fruity before the age of 10the environment I lived in was mostly being left to my own devices when I wasn't hanging out with friends occasionally
>>44614078I relate. It's probably true that environmental effects lead to homosexuality in vulnerable people. That is if the twin studies are valid.I haven't looked at the studies themselves but I don't know how to eke out of this one. Maybe genetic variation can happen after birth via a random epigenetic pathway? Maybe the "Born this way" philosophy has to go. Wouldn't really bother me I don't personally care where gayness comes from.
>>44613926>lack of fatherly love and support (with optional trauma of violence or rape)Well i had a great dad, we'd go out and do sports shit every weekend through my entire high school. I dont see him much now because i moved cities, but he should visit in a month or so>therefore siding with the mother and spending time in a feminine environment.I had a great mum too, so yeah i spent a lot of time with her. Thank god, otherwise id be an ipad baby.>Then, because of this, not being able to bond with other boysMy only friends were boys. As a kid i did karate and we'd beat eachother up after school >then idealizing other boys, what they do and their bodyI was athletic, i didnt really have anyone i was envious of physicallyThat seems more like what can happen if you are gay rather than what makes you gay, because none of that applies to me at all
>>44613982There is no gay gene, it's more of a collection of gay genes, that all have other functions. It's not a simple on/off gay gene, it's emergent from a bunch of other genes that you need to do stuff.
>>44614894Orphans, homeless kids or a trailer park kids or whatever you are, are outliers. Your experience is marginal.
>>44614997oh so it doesn't count? fuck you
>>44614894Isn't that lack of support tho? When my parents moved out I stayed with my grandparents and though my Papá was from a very different time at least he wouldn't force me to "become a man", and my Mamá was the loveliest women I've ever met very feisty too, so yeah I guess that counts as being marginalized
>>44615162It's like saying >"I have no parents but i'm a successful billionaire. So people who say you need good parents are wrong."
>>44613720Ik its all bait and retarded, but I feel alot of the things in this thread. My father was absent and I was bullied alot by boys around me, and then one day I just randomly turned girly and started liking big men. And now I take HRT and shave my body hair and crossdress.
>>44613720Nah when I was very young I used to play outside a ton with both boys and girls so I wasn't an inside kid at first, and my father constantly tried to force me into 'boyish' or 'manly' activities that I despised from a young age, and spent any time I was with him on that stuff. He gave up and withdrew attention eventually but I had already been bi and GD long before then so the LACK of fatherly involvement didn't cause me to be a bi tranny. Some part of him probably sensed it though since he started calling me a fag and accusing everything I did/said (like how I talked or acted) of being faggoty like every other adult did. Most fucked up part was him and other men in my family introducing me to porn at a very young age which I thought was me being treated as mature at the time but in retrospect I think it was their attempt to force me to like girls since they detected I was 'off' somehow.
>concept derived entirely from conversion-therapy Christian circlesShit thread. I played with the boys plenty. I just preferred taking care of myself and the household over it. Even being into tabletopping and games wouldn't stop me from trooning out. In fact I'm about to start playing DnD 5e with a new group of friends and I couldn't be happier to be associated with them all.
>>44615421Getting shown porn at a young age hardly count as being a good father figure. It all checks out.
>>44615421>>44615436Selection bias problem it seems. Well-adjusted gays won't show up in therapy
>>44615474Never said he was a good father figure, I'm disagreeing with the idea that it had anything to do with being an inside kid (I wasn't) or not playing with boys (I did) or lack of fatherly attention (I did receive it, until I consistently refused to be a boy.) I also implied and will now directly state that it all started BEFORE I started getting shit from my father and in fact he acted that way probably because of it, so that couldn't have induced it either.>>44615480I showed up in therapy for depression and then refused to tell the psychs why I was depressed (the bullying, and hating being a boy) because I was afraid of what my parents would do when they were told. So I got kicked out of therapy for being uncooperative and have never been treated.
>>44615241but I fucking exist bro like why can't I be in the conversationexceptions should be examples of a thing not being true in all cases and that should be taken into consideration genuinely screw you it's not my fault I'm an outlier to your scientific method
>>44613720my dad was pretty involved and actually the more chill of my two parents, my mom was unstable and had alcohol problemsi never fit in with most boys from the outset, though, and most of my friends were girls. mostly to do with being an autist whose interests were majority female, though
>>44613720I beat my father and went to jail lol. I never want to become the piece of cowardly shit my dad turned out to be.
>>44615189to clarify, I lived with my grandma who was pretty lenient with me but I'd still mostly hang out with boys, then I lived with my dad who accepted me being gay (though I don't contact him at all because he's still a piece of shit) and he allowed me to crossdress in middle school and stuff cuz it's what I really wanted to do and then he started fucking off and I was raised by another man pretty much, but no one tried to force me to "be a man," at most I was ridiculed for certain effeminate behaviors as a teen but then everyone stopped giving a fuck as soon as I became an adult so I just imagine it was part of just being a kid that adults didn't respect you for whatever reasonmy friends were always totally cool with how I was though
