I've been thinking about trooning out for a few months now, but I feel like there's way too many reasons to not do it and just continue to live with a low level of dysphoria. On one hand, I feel like I would be fulfilling some part of me that wants to be more feminine. I want to shed a whole lot of the expectations placed on me as a man. However on the other, I feel like I would be throwing away the physique I've been working on to maybe help me feel more secure in myself; I'm also in a job that requires me to be fit. Basically, I can't just take HRT and not expect to ruin my career and gym progress (the later obviously only to some extent). Also, I'm not sure if I want to deal with all of the social blowback of doing it. There's also no guaranteeing that I would end up passing. I might just fuck up my endocrine system just to end up looking like a freak.I've toyed with just taking DHT blockers or whatever else would make me more femme while staying a gay twink, but I kind of want to go the whole way.
>>44617895if you think about it, the most heroic and manly thing you can do is troon outit takes a real man to become a woman
>>44617895Do it, DO IT. Fulfillment and actualization are important goals to chase, and the dysphoria often compounds across time. A career is important but it’s not the realest aspect of your life, what’s in you heart is.Also prolonged repping is really really bad, if you have any chance you have to shoot the shot
>>44617895>I'm also in a job that requires me to be fitYou can stay fit while trooning, actually.>I can't just take HRT and not expect to ruin my careerWhat career exactly?Like I'm a military contractor and I'm de facto a tranny (technically hrt femboy but whatever). So what you do for a living that'd be so severely derailed by a bit of hormonal tweak, anon?>social blowbackYou don't have to tell everyone. In fact, you only need to inform your gf/bf if you have one.>might just fuck up my endocrine system just to end up looking like a freakYou may end up looking like a freak (from your subjective point of view), maybe. But you underestimate the resilience of your endocrine system. What's the worst thing that can happen? You don't like the results and you stop after a year or two. All changes revert except booba which only reverts partially. That's the worst case scenario.>There's also no guaranteeingNothing is guaranteed in life, anon. You lose 100% of the shots you don't take.
>>44617895Yeah, I'm a chud troon. But I also trooned out at like 17 with the plan of simply dying if I failed so I think I'm intrinsically like 10x more masculine in spirit than someone who goes "wahh wahh should I transition???" on 4chan.
>>44617995I'm in natty guard, in the process of trying to obtain a commission through college, so taking hormones would probably fuck with the medical processing I need to do.
>>44618038>so taking hormones would probably fuck with the medical processing I need to doI'm not familiar with the processing of the US nat'l guard as I'm not American (thank God!) but unless they do very specific hormonal blood tests (the official page says they don't) then you're clear. And if you DiY you're also clear since there won't be a stain on your medical file in the form of a GD diagnosis.Granted, I trooned immediately after the end of my contract with the regular army of my country and I'm not a Burger, so don't take my word for it fully. You may in fact be correct given that the MEPs are likely more attentive to this fact now under the new admin.Do you intend to stay in the Guard for the long haul? You could troon later, after you pass the initial hurdles (rotc, etc.)Do keep in mind that these thoughts don't actually go away for good. They keep on coming back.>>44618037Based.You getting an axe wound too, nonny?t. is getting an axe wound
>>44618128>You getting an axe wound too, nonny?I've already had like all of the troon surgeries. I'm old now, at least by the standards of this board.
>>44618156Gigabased unironically.I'm 31 and getting the axewound in like 3 months. Still surreal that someone like me gets to be a chill tranny, kek.
>>44618037>chud troon>transition at 17idk I see your point but you just saw little interest in living as a man so not sure how chud is that
>>44618128>MEPs are likely more attentive to this fact nowI've already passed MEPs thankfully.I'm not married to staying in for a long time, but by the time I'm out, I'll probably be in my late 20's, early 30's. I don't want to give up the early 20's window, but I'm also afraid of DiY hormones.
>>44618201Depends on your definition of a chud, really. By most, I am.
>>44618218>afraid of DiY hormonesIn the US you can easily get pharma grade hormones. The DiY part is that you administer yourself and do your blood tests privately.>I've already passed MEPs thankfullyYeah, go to your favorite planned parenthood and asked if you can get informed consent somewhat discretely. Not even joking, atp.>don't want to give up the early 20's windowYeah, for sure. Waiting till after age 30 is far from optimal.
