Don't know how to dice a tomato? Just look it up on youtube. Onions and leek are also good in lots of dishes, look up on how to prepare/cut up those as well!Step 3 is really just following a recipe. Learn how to use a measuring cup, and stick to the measurements. Stick to the recipe, improvising and making up your own spicemixes etc. can wait until you have more experience on what tastes good with what.Step 4 is just to cook a lot! You'll start to learn your kitchen and your equipment. Every pan is different, every stove, oven and microwave is different. I cook way worse when I'm over at my inlaws just because I don't know the exact timings for the appliances for example.Hope this helps a little! Cooking can be a lot of fun, especially if you get to do it for others :)
