/tttt/ tells me that hrt will do almost nothing and no one will notice that you're on it but when I look at actual transformations online, even after 5-6 months, it seems easily noticeable. Will manmoding actually work? Would my family notice? My life would be over if I got clocked for being on hrt.
>t. 19yo gigaheighthon considering taking hrt while in college with the intention of perma-manmoding (so I won't see my dad for 9 months straight)
>>
>>44635926
depends on a lot, I’ve been on for 3y and no one has noticed, but I knew that from the beginning bc im asian and hrt doesn’t work on us
>>
>>44635926
you will probably need a compression bra once your nipples start getting puffy, but other than that its pretty easy to hide it. people will just think youre strangely effeminate looking and might actually treat you better for it (ive had multiple people tell me they thought i was a girl at first as early as 6 months on hormones and even made a friend after a guy tried hitting on me before i told him i wasnt a girl lmao (im a boymoder))
>>
>>44635952
also every second that passes with testosterone being the dominant hormone in your system is a second of permanent masculinization that you can never reverse, get on that shit ASAP twinnamon roll
>>
>>44635969
this is tttt brainrot lies to induce rogd
>>
>>44635988
true !!
>>
>>44635997
but you should still get on it ^^
>>
>>44635969
I know :(((( but i still have to wait at least 1 more month till im fully settled in my dorm, i can't order it before that
>>
>>44635988
Rogd? Whats that
>>
>>44636060
if it helps usps lets you set up a private mailbox (like a po box) with two photo ids so if you have a license and a passport ur good thats what i used to get my hormones when i was stuck living with my family (thats if you want to pay extra to cut the wait though not saying u have to just giving u the info if u want)
>>
>>44636077
*sorry meant ups not usps
>>
>>44635926
people see what they want to see, it's more visible on some people because they wear the label of trans.
>>
What happens if i grow some facial hair? (I have some on my mustache and the tip of my chin, not a full beard)
>>
>>44635926
no one's gonna notice unless you go out of your way to make them do so. hrt really doesn't do much or even really work on most people so you'll be fine
>>44636068
newfags like this are why the board's getting worse. no one here actually understands blanchard or anything related anymore
>>
>>44636175
I would've known about it by now if you just told me what it was instead of being a meanie.
>>
>>44636175

thank GOD t. ranny who has been here for over 6 years now
>>
>>44636175

Why do you keep pedaling that retardation if no one understands it? Sunk cost?

4 years on injections hasn’t done shit for me. Consistent levels around 100-300 and T levels nuked. Skin barely even softer. Sorry OP.

Lifestyle is much more important than HRT
>>
>>44635926
It's a common cult brainwashing method. It's both very simple and easy with no downsides but also radically transformative and lifesaving!
Anyone with any knowledge of medicine knows you can't have "effects" without "side effects", that's not how shit works. Even relatively mundane shit like pepto and ibuprofen have side effects.
>>
>>44635988
Rogd isn't real, they didn't even interview trannies just the parents
>>
>>44636175
Rogd isn't from Blanchard. Rogd isn't real unlike agp
>>
>>44636077
Americans don't generally have passports so it's not as helpful a suggestion as you think.
>>
>>44637971
Like what lifestyle choices?
>>
>>44638191
Working outdoors, lack of sleep, stress, bad diet, bad self-esteem
>>
>>44638199
Well I do/have all of those other then the outdoors part, and the only one realistically in my control at all is sleep and diet. How screwed am I?

What even is a good diet, actually?
>>
>>44635926
idk girl. i’ve done almost nothing to manmode beyond literally just not wearing girl clothes or makeup and i haven’t malefailed more than like, 5 times in almost 2 years
>>
>>44638199
Mind if I ask, at what age did you start?
>>
>>44635926
should be fine just wear sweatshirts every single day

And when it's summer???

nigga it's a human hormone. there are by definition only intended effects
>>
>>44638881
i wonder what that person looks like
>>
>>44635926
the only real "dead giveaway" of being on e is growing tits, everything else can be explained by other means like skincare or haircare or makeup etc. you can also consider changing your fashion sense without making it overtly feminine, bc if you aren't seeing your family for 9 months while on e they might be able to pick up on some visual changes that you yourself wouldn't when you do meet them - e.g. when i visited my family after being on e for a similar length of time my mother asked me if i'd gotten a nose job and i kind of just laughed her off - so it could be helpful to give the impression that your different looks are bc of changing your "vibe" or paying more attention to your appearance & personal grooming rather than structural changes caused by hormones
>>
>>44638868
How old are they in those photos?
>>
>>44639008
dunno. does it matter? there are several growth spurts long after age 18
>>
>>44639184
>there are several growth spurts long after age 18

At which ages?

If i'm in my early 30s am I past them already or are there still some to avoid?

33yo repper reporting in
Testosterone can still widen your shoulders and cause you to go thicker/darker hair on your face, neck and chest, arms, back, ass.. which is expensive, tedious, embarassing to deal with. It will also cause your hairline to recede/thin over time, which is a nightmare.

HRT can still save your shoulders from widening any further which will be exaggerated by your height. The effects aren't really negligible unless you start past 30. At the very least you should get on finasteride if not blockers

Lifestyle is huge, and the buggest mistake people make is thinking hormones will magically transform them when in reality, women spend tons of time and money keeping themselves in shape. Self care isn't a meme where you buy yourself icecream and have a bubble bath; it's skincare and face masks, haircare, nails, exfoliating your entire body and applying lotion, chiseling down your rough crusty toes and doing a foot soak, painstakingly shaping your nails, trimming your cuticles and applying nail hardener/polish, plucking your brows, learning makeup techniques and what colours suit your skin/eyes/hair, styling clothes.. you can learn all the skills to pass as a woman without HRT, and you can take HRT and never pass as a woman. If you're on the fence, start somewhere.

If you get puffy nipples after a year, plenty of chest binding shit exists out there for ftm dudes with DDs to flatten out and boymode so I don't see why you couldnt.

And where does one learn this stuff?

>The effects aren't really negligible unless you start past 30

So if I am in my early 30s, what will/won't it do?

>where
Youtube/insta/tiktok tutorials, magazine articles, Pinterest and Tumblr, idk.. I've been lurking in female spaces forever because I was drawn to them and blended in or was accepted for having genuine interest. Somehow, the trans community has made transitioning harder because instead of just LARPing as a woman and talking with ither girls on forums and having your algorithm tailored to cute clothes/makeup trends/skincare tips and so on, trans people gather in their own separate spaces and never actually integrate with normal cis women.. this place is cursed.

>30s
Testosterone has mostly done it's damage on our bones and all that, but you can still bald, get hairier everywhere else, and generally age worse. Estrogen will slightly thin body hair over time and eventually cause fat redistribution from the upper body to hips, slightly soften skin, grow booba, hopefully improve mental health, probably cause impotence and erectile dysfunction but also kill your libido so it doesn't feel like an issue.
