Thoughts on rebranding "AMAB" to "Boyborn"? It sounds cuter and doesn't make me wanna die at all. Trans women are female, especially after HRT and SRS. After that, you may as well be cissexual. The MEF part of me really likes boyborn, though. It kinda makes what is, in reality, a horrific deformity and blight upon my person, into a very cute and silly sounding thing. For that, I think it's an excellent cope :PSometimes I love it when my bf, who is a foot taller than me, reminds me of how much of a woman I've become, compared to my male puberty. AMAB is far too much of a clinical, medical term and it's become far too loaded with harmful connotations - But boyborn is silly, cutesy, actually rather whimsical. It just sounds like something harmless, something that isn't a super big deal, something you can just sorta get over. I think the way "boyborn" is treated in-game really helps with that perception desu. In the game's universe it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. The MC might ocassionally have dysphoria flare-ups but she is, by and large, treated like a totally normal girl (with a little something extra, at worst) and her being 'boyborn' is basically just an accessory. Which is exactly where I wanna get to IRL with my transition, you know? I personally like envisioning a future where transition tech has gotten so advanced that it's pretty much normal for a lot of girls to be 'boyborn', and it's a self-descriptive moniker that anyone can use and doesn't really have much weight behind it. Girls freely describing themselves as boyborn in the same way they'd describe themselves as ginger, natural blondes, etc. I wish to make this dream... A reality.....
