This is an animated short film called the lovers. 15 minutes. It was funded on kickstarter in mid 2023 and came out today. I think its kinda about a mermaid and a sushi chef who fall in love.

I had heard of it several years ago because the maker of a webcomic i like (hand jumper) did guest art for it . I coincidentally checked on the flick yesterday and found out it was releasing today
