I think she’s guilty by reason of insanity, I think she should be sentenced to a psychiatric facility. she definitely killed them and the postpartum thing is BS, but you should really watch the trial. she trusted her psychiatrist who was fresh out of residency and cycled her through a ton of medications, which she was taking. she expressed verbally that she was having thoughts of harming herself and others to mandatory reporters who did not have her committed. idk if you've ever taken psych meds but i got put on lexapro and went from depressed to actionably suicidal within a week. switched to wellbutrin and i had a night where i was hearing voices and checking corners in my apartment with a shotgun. if i had seen someone that night i would have shot them. after quitting the meds i had those brain shocks for a while but never experienced that level of crazy again.

she is not criminally responsible, she needs to go to a mental institution.

idk, ive seen people react well to them and im not against them as a concept. i personally did not and i know that many others have bad reactions. i was told that it could make me suicidal and to alert the doctor if so. i wasnt told it could make me hear things and have delusions of threatening shadow people who wanted to hurt me. that literally only happened once on one night and i immediately stopped taking them. i was lucky because i was paranoid and alone (and armed) but if i wasnt alone someone could have gotten hurt. its just something you have to experience to understand maybe but i fully believed that there were shadow people in my home trying to hurt me and that i needed to kill them.
