>>44705104my honest opinion as a native anglophone tranny is that there are much worse accents to have as an ESL than slavic. if you have like a thick russian accent then okay it can sound a bit comedic but most central and eastern europeans i've encountered who have a good level of english have fairly pleasant and clear accents, better than frogs and germans for sure. then again i may be biased because my bf is a slav and has a sexy accent in english lol he speaks english much better than i speak his language for now but i'm getting there now that i'm immersed in it most days, i just have to memorise like 200 inflexions and 1000 irregular verbs first.>>44705234you're the one coping. yes if you try to put on a really high pitched valley girl voice it can be a bit weird (even cis girls who talk like that get ripped apart lol my last job had a nafri girl who talked like she was from california and all the foids made fun of her for it) but a lot of tranners do just sound normal. it just takes a while and you have to get to a point where you're not really consciously forcing a fem voice anymore, it's about muscle memory.
