IT support, like L1.5 in theory but i end up doing a lot of L2 tickets. salary is right about median for my city (capital of a small EU country)
>State of housing
unfortunately this is the main problem with where i live. i'm currently renting a studio that costs like half my monthly net salary lol it's painful. next month i'll move in with my bf and i'll have a longer commute but much more manageable rent, will finally actually be able to afford some luxuries rather than barely making ends meet
>Satisfaction with life
the politics in my company are a bit grating but i just try to ignore it. they seem slow to promote people so when i want to move up i'll likely leave but right now i'm enjoying not working too hard lol i have a pretty active life outside of work that keeps me busy. overall i'm happy enough with how my life is, can't complain too much

Incredibly depressed, constantly feels like I'm gonna fall apart. I'm completely isolated from anyone who cares about me, I hate my job, (total right wing hellhole where people openly talk about killing trannies) and I suffer chronic pain in part from my work. Working to make things better, but god

Used to be a high school teacher, but left this year. Couldn't handle the shit behaviors and useless, micro-managing admin any longer. My job became nothing but a performance. No education was happening. Still unemployed, but I cashed out my 401k (I have no expectation of retirement given the state of the world anyway) and my wife works full-time from home. Hope to find something soon.

Pretty happy overall, though I feel like I'm waiting for shit to hit the fan. I have no hope for the future. Have been "collapse-aware" since Covid. I used to think we might have ten to twenty years of normality left. Now I'm not sure what the next few months will bring. Kind of regret trooning out (don't feel like I had much of a choice, but oh well). Really worried about the continued availability of HRT.

The situation with the the Strait of Hormuz and the recent destruction of the Saudi East-West pipeline has me really worried about the future of global trade.
>>

France but I only started the job recently. I don't plan to move out though, I want to save and invest as much as I can, I don't know why exactly because I will never have kids but I don't care about consuming at all either, I'm a literal non-buynary chuddha. I could probably rent a flat for the same price or cheaper than what I pay my room in another major city but I will wait for my trial period to end before moving, if I ever move

IDK, stopped taking e for 3 month now. I kept getting headaches and migraines after 2 years on it.
Over a year as unemployed. NEET. Previously worked in a medical lab. Shift work fried my brain (my sleep cycle) + occupational burnout.
Living with my mother, so i'm also a carer of sorts.

Depressed, detached - in a good way, and in a great need of human touch. Reading books, playing games, taking care of our cat, helping mom with her garden, and just... living. Tried writing, imposter syndrome and crippling doubt killed it.

Probably around a 3. There are some brilliant moments that bring up the average, but overall looking at my life and what little I can seem to manage, paired with the vision of the future, doesn't really fill me with hope. But yeah maybe once I figure out how to order meds online

Our bass player used to play in a bunch of top 40 bands and our singer spent his whole life doing gigs here and there, mainly with his big band. They're a fair bit older than me. We also don't even get paid as this band, it's mostly just from side projects.
I've gotten a few tenners under the table but only one proper working gig so far

They're miserable because they're poor and have no option to change careers at will, digging yourself out of that situation is shitty and incredible difficult. Most people never do. Are you dumb as fuck or am I stupid for taking this bait?

To add to this: I had every option and opportunity to build this but I still kept failing which adds a lot to the misery

>>Satisfaction with life
here we go

I would like to study at a better university; I am a *hikikomori* because I hate the climate where I live, I hate people who are poorer than me because their culture is completely different and we are incompatible, and I am afraid of violence... which is why I study online.

My parents are selfish narcissists; they give me money for everything except what actually matters to me. Every time I’ve asked for money to study at a better online university, they’ve refused... they’ve spent far more money right in front of me, yet for some reason, they don’t want to invest any more in my education... my life would be better, and I’d have more opportunities, but that’s not the case.

I feel uncomfortable with my body, with where I live, and with where I study... every day I want to die more and more; I have no motivation. If it were easy to get a gun in my country, I would have killed myself already.

One of the best years I've ever had. Still early transition and thinking about suicide, but I've been putting myself out there and making tons of new social connections, going out to concerts and bars, and generally living a real life. For context I worked as a restaurant manager for 10+ years and basically lost a decade of my life drinking and working but I came out the other side with a decent pile of savings.
