you don't necessarily need 100mg but that'll definitely get you to masculinize the fastest. you can get decent levels under that depending on your height + weight and how much you respond to the testosterone. hopefully your doctor gives you the dose you want
a lot of doctors like to lowball it and initially poondose. a lot also like to keep you on said poondose. this is not always the case and they'll give you a midrange dose (50mg~70mg) to start, others start high. mine started with giving me a midrange dose because i proved i knew what i was talking about to him, and when my levels were slightly low he bumped me up to high and i masculinized very quickly thereafter. even then, i got a lot of changes even before that in the very short period i was on that midrange dose.
ALWAYS do your bloodwork if you can, make sure to request both testosterone and estrogen get tested
you should NOT be getting your period once you've been on hrt for a while. mine stopped 2 weeks on t, most people stop at 1-2 months.

it depends on the doctor, mine just asked me if i knew what changes to expect and i listed off what he asked (voice dropping, facial hair growth, period stopping, fat redistribution, bottom growth though depending on the doctor you may have to further explain or skip thay one, etc) and he was satisfied by it, i think he asked a few other questions too but that was 3 years ago so i don't remember much else.
