used to be friends with a trans man from Norway who used to complain about how awful the trans healthcare was there. is it really that bad? i know the nordics tolerate cisgays more than trans people, but damn.

>norwegian pooner born in norway, lost between waitlists, surviving. i tell norwegian GIC i have no HRT. did they do their job? no they did not fucking do their job!

I've never spoken to a Norwegian tranny about it but non-Norwegian ones who have researched it tell me it's bad. Long waiting times, DIY impossible because it WILL get confiscated (can just get it delivered to Sweden and drive over there though) and some other things I can't remember. Oh also, I think you only get the bad form of estrogen/testosterone or whatever. Like pills instead of needles? Or the opposite? I'm sure you understand

Also apparently trannies are gonna get some stuff done for them (we're supposed to become like Germany/Austria/Switzerland wrt. treatment) https://www.nrk.no/nyheter/regjeringen-lanserer-tiltak-for-bedre-helsehjelp-til-transpersoner-1.17938177
Is that good? I don't know
I very rarely hear about trannies in the media. I feel like our trannies don't complain (enough)

i live in norway and i can confirm its dogshit. transpeople here realy on EU regulation to get private care. there is a private path to care but it is very expensive to get HRT. public care requires 4 years usually to start HRT and get the lowest doses you can get lol also pharmacies are smug about accepting prescriptions not from public service often and you have to find the "good ones" and insist to get the stuff. godawful.

the current system requires you to live as trans publicly with 0 free care and treatment, aka you have to honmaxx with a beardshadow for 5 years to get access to ANY treatment. getting access to laser requires more time on top of that. people usually pay privately and thats it. basically private care is there but not really, and people are seeing you as shady and not trustworthy for using the private system because they are they nationalistic and believe their system does no wrongs.
>>
oh right, and you pay 40euros per month to get transvestigated by the public system for 5 years (a set of cis people decide if you are TRUETRANS). it really is godawful lol

først og fremst finnes jeg, og jeg har stått frem; det er jo allerede noe. jeg er en del av queer-miljøet her… jeg er ikke politisk aktiv fordi jeg er innvandrer
