Is it a bad idea to this exercise routine as a tranner?I've been on E for 5 years and I girlmode fulltimeIt was the only exercise routine that didn't bore me to death. I seriously hate doing isolation machine workouts, and I love doing free barbell exercises. From what I understand, fewer reps means you will have more strength than volume, so it shouldn't make me get too much of a masculine muscle composition, right?
>>44796250well you can absolutely still gain muscle with 5x5 if you're doing progressive overload like this suggests, it's just not the main target of this program which is more about increasing strength and mastering compound lifts. in saying that i don't think having muscle is a bad thing at all, plus this routine is pretty balanced (targets all the big groups) and if you find it enjoyable and easy to follow then that's the main thing. it would take many months of working out before you'd see actual silhouette changes anyway and if you do grow muscle you don't want all you have to do is stop working out that muscle group.
>>44796250yes it's bad. do not work your upper body at all, ever.
>>44796250You won’t get big muscles if you don’t eat in a calorie surplus, only food can add mass to your body that’s the most important bit
>>44796319lmao delusional. idk if you've ever seen a trans woman who does absolutely no upper body training irl but it's cringe, having terrible slumped posture is one of the clockiest things you can actually control and it makes your shoulders and ribs look worse, not better. at least some amount of upper body training is needed to maintain good posture and joint health plus it helps a lot if you want to do heavier lower body lifts (good luck performing barbell squats correctly without fucking up your spine if you have zero upper body strength).
>>44796319dyel this is retarded
i don't workout because I can't tuck properly without pain :/also i would draw too much attention to me with a baggy pants because virtuall all women at the gym wear skin tight pantsis there a solution for this?
>>44796697Baggy womens gym shortsGot a pair off amazon for like $20 and they're perfectly fine
>>44796411Pretty sure she meant avoiding heavy work out, not literally no workout at all.
>>44796697Women wear skintight clothes to the gym because they’re whores, you’ll get less attention (and more self-respect) if you wear actual clothes t. cofab who lifts in a tracksuit
>>44796697girl nobody at the gym cares if you wear baggy pants lol if they do that's their problem not yours. like trust me when i'm working out the last thing i'm thinking about is people around me or what they're wearing. i genuinely couldn't even tell you what most people at my gym wear because i pay that little attention to it. wear whatever you're comfortable wearing, i always wear sweatpants personally.>>44796730how did you deduce that from "do not work your upper body at all, ever"?
>>44796765Dunno, workout kinda implies lifting heavy stuff I guess
>>44796697Bullshit. The street knowledge is that women in skintight shit are just there to take pictures and cause problems. The ones that wear a shirt and baggy shorts are there to get in shape and people will be nice to you. I've never had any issues wearing an old band shirt and basketball shorts as a passport.
>>44796250Also no, this is a great idea. Strength training gives you a subtle and healthy looking physique, and all the girlfat on top of it from estrogen will soften it a lot already. You'll look very good being a girl who lifts. The age old myth that you'll get "too big" will be busted the moment you realize how hard it is to get bigger at all.
>>44796250>From what I understand, fewer reps means you will have more strength than volumeYeah not exactly.Muscle hypertrophy is very much volume dependent and intensity dependent.
