Everytime I dream I'm a guy in my dreams and I try to force my dream that I'm a girl, but it won't work. Yesterday I had a wet dream and there too, I had a penis. I wonder why I can't force my brain to dream that what I want to. Does anyone have experience in lucid dreaming? Often times when I dream I'm pretty aware of it which is cool, but I hardly can control what happens

Imma be real, I've always been either a girl or some sort of tentacled demon monster thing in my dreams. I'm a really good lucid dreamer, but that was always just the default.

Honestly it was a big part of my dysphoria that what I was in that inner world didn't match what I was in the real world, and further that this was something I had to hide or even lie about.

closest i got to being a girl in my dreams was that one time where i looked in the mirror and saw a girl for 3 seconds but then literally morphed into a comically masculine hon caricature kafka style and woke up in a cold sweat

I know what you mean, but the fact that you're a tentacle demon monster in your dream makes this sentence kind of funny

I literally had a mirror dream tonight too and it was basically just me looking back at myself. I tried to change the appearance, it worked and I saw it happen in the mirror, but it just got uglier. I woke up, but I just frustrated, not scared or anything, because I had been aware of being asleep and wanted to have sex in my dream

Yeah i feel like when you're in a dream and you're ugly or have low self esteem then you just have to try and not think about how you actually look like and just be content with whatever you end up looking like in the dream because if you think about it you'll just be comically ugly and exaggarated

i’ve had lots of lucid dreams and find that it’s difficult getting full and immediate control, usually i have to work within the constraints of the dream environment that i gain lucidity in. any modifications usually have some input-latency, and major scene changes such as flying become difficult because your brain is suddenly trying to figure out how to render a bunch of new information. that brain activity is usually enough to make me wake up, so instead i stick to lesser variations such as moon bouncing and hovering.

usually i just like to cast magic, i would think changing sex should be possible. however, i’ve noticed that how i appear in non-lucid dreams has mostly tracked with the progression of my transition itself. early dreams i was getting clocked and deadnamed or dealing with facial hair, later dreams i could go through the mall in girlmode and have everything be great. so hopefully that will happen for you on its own. i want to get back into lucid dreaming though, it would be satisfying getting full mastery over it.

In my lucid dreaming you need some kind of a narrative tool to change things. I can't just will myself to fly, but if i imagine i have rocket boots, the action of them blasting off will allow me to imagine i'm moving.

I've tried getting into lucid dreaming with very hit and miss success.

ive found it's easier to lucid dream if you have a light on and force yourself to wake up often, but it means poorer quality sleep. it's like if youre able to control when you wake up, then you can eventually practice making choices in your dream. but it definitely takes practice.

im usually a tranny or genderless in my normal dreams facing people from my childhood who i never came out to
