day 2 of fatmaxxing.
I remember why I started starving so badly in the first place.
If I starve I dont have the brainpower there to truly process just how fucked my face is.
>>
>>44820153
calm down, mate
>>
If you eat yourself into a food coma you won't have the brainpower to do that either, and eventually the fat will soften up your face
>>
>>44820222
this
>>
>>44820153
“Mate” is gendered? I genuinely had no idea. I assumed it was like “friend,” or at worst like the non-gendered use of “dude” / “bro.”
>>
>>44820320
Literally never seen anyone besides stoners use the word dude gender neutrally.
>>
>>44820153
hope it's going well anon. I'm sipping on a nice warm jug of ice cream tonight
>>
>>44820324
I mean I kinda grew up around stoners, but basically everybody does it now. Same with bro and bruh. Or maybe I just call people that as a girl and people pick up on it and use it on me back.
>>
>>44820320
i use dude and bro in a gender neutral way and no one's ever complained
>>
>>44820153
you'll feel better when your face gets cute and round
>>
>>44820320
All words are gendered. Everything is gendered.
>>
>>44820324
I think it’s both a regional and generational thing. California is very different than Kansas in this respect, and millenials very different than boomers. “Bruh” is maybe a better example, as >>44820554 brings up. I swear every zoomer in the world seems to be using “bruh” in a universal way.

>>44822497
You’re incorrect as a matter of linguistics. What bespoke definition of “gendered” have you invented for purposes of this claim?
>>

>You’re incorrect as a matter of linguistics.
If you said English grammar spefically maybe.
> What bespoke definition of “gendered” have you invented for purposes of this claim?
All words more semantic meaning than their strict dictionary definition they carry connotations and vibes.
>>
>>44820222
face is so important desu i used to have a very honnish face and now im like ugly fat woman at worst and cute one at best
>>
>>44822855
Okay, then tell me about the gendered nature of the words “is,” “to,” and “the.” Three common words, three different parts of speech, and—according to you—none can be genderless. Go.
>>
>>44822946
"Is" forceful definitive verb masculine,
"to" movement mechanical, masculine.
"the" narcissistic feminine.

This is fascinating, but purely your own personal vibes. I think you’d get different answers from different people, and a significant portion would say these words are simply genderless. So rather than saying “[a]ll words are gendered” as an absolute, you should probably just say “I experience all words through the lens of gender.”

Also, let’s circle back on:
>If you said English grammar specifically maybe.
There is no known language where *all* words are gendered in the grammatical sense, period. It’s not unique to English, so don’t respond in bad faith like that please.
