When I arrive downstairs, my crush is about to perform his surgery in public in the museum, there are surgeons and an audience gathered around him. I don’t watch, and the stranger from earlier comes over to me. To make up for it, he explains the procedure to me, but I zone out and can’t bring myself to listen as I hear all the risks involved; I just know it’s a throat surgery.By the time the explanation is over, my crush is done with the surgery, he has stitches running horizontally across his neck, and he can’t speak at all, but he’s visibly happy to see me !
