No knee surgery is considered successful if the person is happier. The validity is judged based on if it decreases the illness and for gender affirming care it's dysphoria. Doctors need to measure dysphoria before and after and compare. That's it. Happiness isn't even defined and be used as a measurement. Trannies don't owe anybody happiness after they've transitioned. That's ridiculous. So many confounding variables are at play.
