Does anyone else get really depressed by the marketing of this game? Part of it is that I cannot afford the $1000 paywall that you need to play it (PS5 pro plus the 100 dollar fucking game) but also...GTA is supposed to be about uggos. It kind of depresses me seeing a game full of pretty people in literally my second least favorite city in the world. I don't even know why.
>>44832047I'm an unc so the last Rockstar game I played was GTA3. All I did was run around, steal cars, and beat the shit out of people, and then use cheat codes to do that with bigger weapons and bigger vehicles. Can you not do that in GTA5?
>>44832210Honestly....not really. The cops are insanely OP and will hunt you down if you bump into someone the wrong way. The controls are even worse than the old games so good luck surviving a shootout with them. You have to open your phone in game to type in a cheatcode so getting rid of a wanted level isn't as easy as memorizing a few buttons, and you can only remove one wanted start at a time. You can mod the game to make it fun but if you have a legtimate copy then you have to deal with them intentionally pushing updates to break your mods. Since IV Rockstar really just wants you to play the missions and "enjoy the story" and so they make it difficult to actually have fun in their games. GTAVI will be fun when it can be easily pirated and modded, until then it's more AAA storyslop except with good graphics.
