fucking with the brain in precise, complex ways like this is hard and i don't expect us to be able to do it before biological reproduction is in the rear-view mirror. "brain sex" is almost certainly not just one bit that you can easily flip, but a whole bunch of correlated brain features.if somebody claimed to be able to do this, i would not believe them. i think there are certain forms of "cure" hypotheticals that make sense, but this isn't one of them. i'd be much more likely to believe someone who claimed to have found a chemical which switched off gender dysphoria without otherwise altering behavior, for instance (anecdotally, estrogen almost completely switches off my dysphoria even though i still look like a moid, seems plausible that there's an "am i experiencing hormone disruption relative to expected baseline" system that you could figure out how to fool).
