That adds up in large popukations. Especially if there's a lot of these OTC drugs that people can take at the same time.So if your country has healthcare thatis paid by the government, even if not fully, the government has a pretty large incentive to keep the population as healthy as possible. I'm quite certain that this is also the real reason governments in the eu are currently pushing to make alcohol inaccessible despite lobbying. They want people to be healthy for longer to find more time to deal with the aging population, or perhaps they're hoping that people will be productive for a larger % of their life this way, as a partial fix to the entire issue.Either way, it's bullshit and alcohol is already more expensive than hard drugs. There's just gonna be more people using hard drugs and consequently there's gonna be more crime. Governments are stupid.
