no its not. i tried to believe this, i really did. i read the threads, the "love is love" stuff, i even had a phase where i thought maybe i could just be normal about it. like it was just another way to exist. then you wake up the morning after and you cant even look in the mirror. not because someone told you to feel bad. because you KNOW. something in your gut knows. a man is supposed to want to take, to hold, to be the one who stands over. and when your body wants the opposite of that when the thing that gets you going is being the one underneath, being held down, being USED like that... theres no pride flag that fixes what that makes you feel about yourself. and dont tell me "thats just internalized shame from society." i thought about that. for a long time. but even alone, nobody around, no one would ever know.. the disgust is still there. thats not society. thats you. thats what you ARE telling you what you are. maybe it works for other guys. i genuinely have nothing against them. if some dude in berlin or wherever can be happy like that, good for him honestly. but for a man like me, from where im from, built the way im built its a trap. over here they dont see it as love, they see it as surrender. and theyre right. thats what it is. i know because i feel it every time. my father's voice when he talks about "those kind." you dont get to be soft and keep being a man. everyone knows this. pretending otherwise is the lie.
