Go on a date with them or befriend them first. Don't get physical or accept anything from them. Then tell them after they ask you on another date (by text preferably). You want them to fall in love with you before disclosing so they see you as a person and not a stereotype of what they think a trans person is. Be very careful though and always meet in public.

If you are getting attention already you don't need to wait for ffs, that sounds more like an excuse.
