I got really parasocial with the giant bomb/greater whiskey media scene as a kid. Very much felt like they were my friends and Ryan passing really hurt. semi related but when I was going through a mental breakdown in college dealing w/ gender shit and listening to Dysphoria Blues on loop while disassociating, LJG followed me on twitter and I absolutely let that shit get to my head in a way that was not healthy. These days I try to be more aware of it and keep it in check.
