when i moved to a new city, started college and got a job, i decided to go back into boymode and use a male name, thinking id rather do the tranny stuff at home where it couldnt affect my social life or job prospects (present and future). but its been over a year now and the tranny aspect of my life has been almost entirely phased out other than my closest friends who still call me she and use my tranny name and see me as they always have. but recently after feeling i had "gotten over" the tranny stuff and developing a more nuanced interpretation of what i want to be and present to others, i started spending more time with my ex and the tranny thoughts have begun to resurface and i dont really know what to do about it
im still on hormones and have been the whole time, just cut my hair more boyish and wear baggier clothes to androgynize my appearance; so i could essentially just go back to how i was before but now it seems even more irresponsible cuz i have a blue collar job with a bunch of older men who would probably look down on me and even possibly get me fired or something so idk
i guess i could try doing stuff at home again and see if it really feels worth it or something but idk
what should i do ?

Anon it's okay to identify as gender-fluid or something similar and just dress how you want, you know?

Stop talking to the ex. Problem solved.
If you have the chance to live a regular life (no surgeries, no meds, no discrimination, ...), you should 100% take it.
That other life you left behind, is the past.
Reinventing yourself is a thing.
