Why is job searching so hard? Genuinely gonna get kicked out soon and I'll prob have to go no contact, never trust family, especially when you come out as bi (I haven't said I was trans to them yet) and confessed to your dad molesting you, literally everyone including my siblings are on his side so like, tf am I meant to do?

I'm twenty rn so this really shouldn't be that much of a deal but like, I'm still at college and haven't worked a job in my life, where do I start exactly? I'm working on my cv and looking for weekend jobs but still, what are your guys recommendations since there's bound to be some other queers here who faced getting kicked out before and managed., just don't know how I'll find a place to stay if I'm only working weekends.

Sorry if I sound pathetic, I just don't think I will be able to stay here for much longer with the ways things are going

i think affording a place to stay while only working weekends probably wont work, are there any student dorms or anything?

when i was your position, i became a resident advisor so i got free room & board and a little stipend in exchange for working a part-time job. try to stay near or on campus if you want more security. but going further away will probably get you more money

Maybe? I'm based in Scotland but from what I can see it's at a different campus but still the same college if that makes sense, I'd be able to make the commute though so if it works out then it could be fine? Most other places I find seem to be in the £800 range which yeah, idk, I'm looking into all my options rn, I wouldn't mind living in a shared place atp if it's cheap enough

What's that? Like I can try to look into it but idk really much about what that job even is

I don't know, I never exactly been to one and the more I look into it, rent is around the same anyways so idk if I'd want to do that, I'm thinking a flat share since it seems to be around the same if a bit cheaper, I'm just not sure on the best thing to do from here, I do think rent could be possible but I'd need to get lucky on my hours and how much I get paid, like a bit over £200 a week which I think maybe could work since it's Edinburgh, it's not I have no qualifications or anything

This fucking sucks, how the hell can people stand this
