vehemently disliking ai is clocky btw

liking AI is brown

computers should be banned so accountants can get their jobs back

I love AI, I recently got into playing around with local models and linear probes, activation steering etc. It's going to be a hugely transformative technology in the next couple of years and it's a shame that left leaning people in particular are so dismissive of it.

only woman itt

ime, I have yet to meet a cis normie that doesn't like AI. it's less about gender and more about how deep you are into weird radlib politics, and trannies tend to be more into that than anyone
>>
>>44970103
yes this sounds reasonable
>>
>>44970030
this but unironically.

>>44970024
>group that disproportionately knows how the technology works doesn't see it as the voodoo magic that browns do
water is wet
>>
>>44970103
even the ones that say they don't like it admit to using it all the time like fucking commit to what you're saying at least
>>
>>44970024
women seem to just be more nuanced about it
>>
>>44970024
yeah hating ai is extremely queer coded for whatever reason. its basically equivalent to waving a trans flag.

I’m white.

I like AI more since I learned how it works.

analytical AI has been a 100% benefit to society
generative AI is for lazy fucks who want to be creative but can't be assed to pick up a pencil and don't mind draining a lake any time they want to see what their dog would look like as a human

There is no clean difference between "analytical AI" and "generative AI". AlphaFold is hugely transformative for the entire field of biology, and is based on a transformer architecture similar to ChatGPT, stable diffusion and other generative models. It's also absurd at this point to deny the usefulness of LLMs given everything they're currently doing for coding and mathematics. Even for art, I believe it will ultimately be a good thing a few years down the line. A big reason why video games and movies have become so shitty is that the cost of modern effects and modern AAA game standards requires massive staff of programmers and artists, so studios play it very safe and develop for the lowest common denominator. With AI assets and code, the costs will drop and more interesting things that people actually want to make and see will become more viable again. It doesn't all have to be slop, it will probably boost the diversity of games and movies that are available
