Hi! I would like some HRT advice :3I'm on weekly EEn injections without anti-androgens.I reduced my dose from 5 mg to 4 mg. Tested at trough without biotin or other supplements. My E2 fell from 494 to 238 pg/mL, but my T went up from 34 to 151 ng/dL. LH was 4.72 mIU/mL, FSH under 0.3 mIU/mL, and SHBG was 54.5 nmol/L. These weren't measured in the old panel. Any ideas?
the lower dose is not sufficiently suppressing testosterone production
>>44970667yeah true. but i wonder why that is the case. because 238 pg/mL should've been enough. guess i'm an outlier.
>>44970708it's highly variable. my T is suppressed with E at 100 pg/ml. there are people that need up to 500 pg/ml
>>44970733right, that makes sense. so i guess the LH & T mystery can be chalked up to having a higher-than-usual suppression threshold. although i do wonder how FSH is still suppressed. i thought it moved in the same direction as LH.i also wonder how reducing my dose by 20% (1 mg) reduced my E2 by 50%.
>>44970755>although i do wonder how FSH is still suppressed. i thought it moved in the same direction as LH.they are not necessarily equal, I know that estrogens and progestogens suppress FSH and LH differently, and this is really important for the menstrual cycle for example
