I know exactly what ruined this board and the Internet in general:

>Normies.

Cis normies mostly ruined it, but don't think just because someone is a tranny, that it means they can't be normies

>"How do I spot a trans normie? Am I a normie?"

I'll tell you:
>If they constantly talk about dating experiences (even if they're negative experiences)
>If they have more then 2 ex bfs/gfs
>If they have more then 1 or 2 friends
>If they have an ok paying job
>If they run their mouth about the latest TikTok/xitter drama then forget about it a week later
>If they're annoying as fuck and constantly brag or talk about their significant other
>If they constantly talk about their friends
>If they talk about favorite restaurants or stores (ex: "Costco food sucks!!", "nuh uh, it's delish!")
>If they watch cr1tikal or similar breadtubers
>If they overreact when they see slurs or offensive racist jokes
>If they use generative AI because "ohh uhh, I suck at drawing"
>If they fully align themselves with an extreme end of a political party, (ie communism or fascism)

These are just the ones off the top of my head. Real nerds and people who think outside the box are rare to come by these days. I call these player characters, and it feels like the server is empty. In its place are a bunch of NPCs that run on a scripted code. Politicians, Internet puritans, that guy you see taking a stroll every morning, the people you see at Walmart, most people in discord servers all run on this code. They aren't real people but are similar to bots.

/tttt/ doesn't have that autistic "luxury" and you are a fool for trying to prioritize some curated imageboard cargo cult rooted in alienation when the emergent culture of this place is exactly what it was always going to be and is both a product of and counter to it's origin point.

We're a containment board and gay /soc/ that is occasionally funny or informative but unfortunately full of sad people taking their misery out on others what the fuck do you expect?

Bottom line what this place is will always be "reddit" coded to use a parlance you non NPC's can understand and that's fine because it's only redeeming virtue is helping people who are like cornered rats

Also I don't think its good for people to use /tttt/ as their sole way of engaging with this kind of stuff and we can be very obnoxious/unhealthy in contexts outside of this place

if u r a tranny or fag u got bigger things to worry about than muh sekrit klub

I constantly talk about my friend/roomate because they are the only person I've talked to in the past decade.

I somewhat agree but a normie as you describe has some sort of personality. A lot of people (and me to some degree) are NPCs. They don’t do anything, they don’t think anything, they don’t feel anything; barely human.
