Being transgender did not change my life in any way whatsoever. My life is pretty average. Small number of close friends in school, fairweather college friends, whack unsatisfying job. Before and after transition I was idk 60/40 on ma'am or sir with sir slight majority. That didn't change either. People I dated didn't care about how I identified. People on the street aren't more hostile. People aren't even particularly rude either because theyre all cortisol maxxing or whatever. It's really made no difference at all. Pic related is me btw.
being trans made it simply impossible for me to find a partner, that’s all that it’s really changed for me, oh and i’m not close with my dad at all
people are standoffish to me in public but im pretty sure they were the same before hrt and actually ive had a lot of good interactions on hrt
>>45008705Why impossible? To be honest most people are not even discerning with relationships. Theyll be in one with whoever is nearby or available. Do you have a fear of intimacy with others? Most people just don't care.
>>45008830I am very discerning with relationships. I'll only date trans women. Cis women are hags in comparison.
>>45008847Being trans made it hard to date other trans people? I've read it is often the opposite. That trans people often date amongst themselves for mutual understanding and shit like that.

>>45008692Transitioning is literally just about experiencing life normally for yourself, congrats! I also live in a rural small town so I at least notice the happy little differences and how much better my social life got after hormones. I'm kinda just the same gay kid I was before but older and prettier and more mellowed out I guess.
