Why do all trans women end up "wanting" to be a woman ? Fetishists aside

Being a woman is the most miserable thing in existence, I do not understand why so many trans women want to get into womanhood, to my ears it really sounds like they never talked to a cis woman before, have no clue what womanhood is about and therefore don't experience it (look at all the trans women who say they really want to have periods)
I'm MtF but I don't want to be a trans woman, I don't want to be a cis woman either, I want to be a man. I go through a fraction of a fraction of what cis women go through and it's already unbearable. But living as a man wouldn't be true to what I am and how I have been perceived all my life

Am I delusional ? Do I simply not understand trans women ? I really want to understand
>>
I think I'm just becoming more and more TERFpilled

I had very different ideas of who I wanted to be when I was young. Most of the people you see expressing this sentiment are probably young or haven't lived much.
>>
Women have far easier and kinder lives afforded at the expense of men that is enviable in modern society.
>>
>>45013619
i dont know either. ive wanted to be one ever since i was a little kid . its not a stereotypical feminine thing, or being treated in a certain way, or being able to do things, or being called things, or being pretty. its none of that.

i dont know why i want to be a woman, i just do. if it was for some other reason, i would pursue that instead of trying to be a woman.

people want things and like things without reason. i like the games i play, and i can give you why i like the games i play, or the art i like, but i cant tell you why i like the things behind them.

i want to be a woman , regardless of what womanhood is, or how painful it is, or how separate from it i might be. even if womanhood is different for different people, in the same way, manhood is different for different men, right?

i only want to be a woman. because i want to. i wish i could tell you it was a fetish or something else. that i desire to be desired, or something like that. but i thought about it a lot as a kid, and i only just want to be a woman. theres nothing else to it. i feel gross , wanting it still. even if its in a good faith way. i guess im sorry for being male. thats how i feel

This is just not true, women have always worked alongside men, and more than them.

I kinda understand the way you don't understand either. I feel so guilty and so stupid being dysphoric and transitioning, it's all just so misplaced
>>
>>45013879
the way society is, i can understand why terfs would find me disgusting
why would i throw away my privilege lol
there needs to be a reason, there just has to be, i mean it makes no sense
but there isnt one , so i can see why they would hate me , and i dont really see myself as a woman either , and so i feel bad . i dont think ill ever go into womens spaces until i die

>I'm MtF but I don't want to be a trans woman, I don't want to be a cis woman either, I want to be a man
I'm glad I'm not alone. I'd do anything to be cis and happy, even if I had to be a man. Being a man is objectively superior even if it makes me want to kms
>>

>>45013916
;--;
>>
>>45013619
I don't know, but this is why I have empathy for trans women. You truly have to have something different in your brain if you want to be a woman
>>
so glad that i don't have these thoughts or feelings as a cis male on hrt
>>
imagine caring this much about what cisfoids think lmao
>>
>>45013619
trans women are women, it's just that simple.
It's odd to me that even other trans people can't understand this sometimes.
>>
>>45013619
being a woman isn't that bad. sounds like (You) never talked to a cis woman
>>
>>45014608
99.9% of women are cis so yeah the imagery of cis women represents womanhood
>>45014791
Sounds like (You) never had cisf friends tell you in middle school they get catcalled and harassed in the street by men in their 30-40s
Sounds like (You) never had female family members verbally and physically abused by their male counterparts in front of the family
Sounds like (You) never witnessed teachers belittling female classmates and pairing them with the loudest male classmates to placate them
But you more likely just didn't care enough to soak it up into your long term memory
>>
>>45013805
i think being slightly TERFpilled is the most normal and sane u can be as a tranny.
it is pretty dire with the vast majority of trans ppl today being agp/aap fetishists and ppl who dont transition
>>
>>45015012
Women hate misogyny, and how men/the rest of society treats them. Many separate this from simply being a woman, and do not hate being a woman so directly.
>>
>>45015092
How do you distinguish the two
>>
>>45013619
I think that women do have a harder life in general unless they have pretty privilege along with a slew of other advantages such as those associated with class and intelligence that go with either gender. Women who are a 7 or higher and who are of at least normal intelligence who don't have any other real systemic disadvantages now have it better than the average moid in most technologically advanced societies in many but not all ways.
Personally, had I been born a female my life probably would have been better but I'm a moid so I will play the hand I was delt.
>>
Don’t forget the biological disadvantages of being a cis female such as: less muscle mass, less lung capacity, slower fast twitch muscles, annoying chest tumors that can cause back issues if they’re too large, weaker bones, bleeding out of your genitals once a month. It’s hard to describe just how painful and humiliating menstruation is. I hate being afab I wish I was a cis man
>>
>>45015179
> less muscle mass
Happens to trans women, we deal with it because it's better than gender dysphoria
> that can cause back issues if they’re too large
As a trans woman who ended up with H cups, I relate to this. Considering a reduction. I like them being there, I just would like them to be smaller and to draw less attention.
> weaker bones
Bone density does change for trans women, only bone size doesn't. Just a note. Still worth it.
> bleeding out of your genitals once a month
Yeah, that sucks.

Like admitadly, I would take it for the ability to gestate and birth a child, but many people don't want that ability. I wish everyone who didn't think it was worth it could get instant free hystotectomies so they could be happier.

I belive cis women and trans guys who have no interest in having children should have free and easy access to hystotectomies if they want them.
> I hate being afab I wish I was a cis man
Understandable. I wish I were a cis woman, but we are all stuck playing the cards we are dealt. Sorry you have to deal with this shit.

Hopefully my perspective helps people understand trans women better, and I am open to follow-up questions!
>>
>>45015286
Oh yeah dw I love trans women I was just venting. But it is nice to hear your perspectives, just weird because we’re so similar but in opposite directions
>>
>>45013619
Most of my friends for most of my life were girls and women. IDK why you think we don't talk to women. We know what we are getting into.

We do it because it's worth it to calm the pain of gender dysphoria, not because being a woman is "better". We live in a misogynistic society, being a woman isn't objectively better. It's just better for me than the torture of having a body that doesn't feel like it fits.
>>
>>45013619
Gender dysphoria isn't logical to begin with so this question is pointless to me.
>>
>>45015012
>>45015092
nta but both of these are true. The longer I live as a woman the more I recognize how bad some of it is, and I can't imagine going through these things as a child rather than an adult as I am experiencing some of them.

That said, a lot of why I transitioned was because I personally feel I make more sense living life as a woman than as a man. I can interact with society in a way thats much more congruent with my personality and interests. I hated trying to act like a guy and now I don't have to, and its greatly improved my life. I also prefer how my body runs on estrogen and how I am not masculinizing further.
>>
>>45015307
Of course! I didn't think you were speaking negatively about trans women. Venting is totally fair! I just wanted to share my experiences to help everyone gain an understanding of each other.

I appreciate you sharing your feelings and experiences too!
>>
>>45013619
No you're not wrong being a woman kind of sucks but we have this stupid brain disease because there was too much horse piss in the womb or whatever
>>
I’m just a girl and do things I like, why are you thinking about it so much. The problem is men and sexism. There’s nothing bad about being a girl inherently, ask any cis woman if they’d rather be born a boy and they’ll say no, why? Because you’re a girl that’s all there is to it, you either are one or you ain’t and that’s all there is too it.
>>
>>45015545
>you’re a girl that’s all there is to it, you either are one or you ain’t and that’s all there is too it
Yeah, I simply think I'm morronic to take estrogen every week in a society that mistreats women so much

>I'm MtF but I don't want to be a trans woman, I don't want to be a cis woman either, I want to be a man.
Number one, what. Number two trans woman have an intersex brain so they want to be woman. Simple as.
>>
>>45015609
In what way is taking artificial cross sex hormones truer to who you are than simply living as a man?
>>
>>45015628
Before transitioning I've been explicitly considered to be a girl by plenty of my classmates, relatives, friends and situationships/relationships
>>
>>45013619
I'm not trans but I do want to be a woman. Unlike others ITT though, I will say that the desire/dysphoria is rational according to my experience. I have lifelong AGP, am mentally ill enough to have at one point considered myself as a different gender from the one I was born as, am generally dissatisfied with life and disillusioned with male gender roles. It doesn't suck to be a woman anymore than it sucks to be a man.
>>
>>45015628
I simply am a woman, but I don't want to be one. Does it make sense?

Women enjoy an immense privilege in every single aspect of their life: relationships, careers, politics, culture, daily interactions, societal expectations, etc. Everything is 10x easier and more pleasant for them. Getting women to admit to this is practically impossible, but it's a blatant fact of reality for anyone with the eyes to see and the courage to tell the emperor he has no clothes.

Pre-HRT Trans women are already women. If they rep and try to deny it, they're sad women at heart who are denying what their body yearns to become. If they take HRT, they're still the same woman, but realized.

Tale as old as time. Trannies also wonder why one would want to "be a stupid hairy hated on by everybody ogre" Grass is always greener on the other side and rationalizing dysphoria yada yada

I am ftm and both living as a woman and as a man is fine. Nothingburger. Didn't get harassed as a woman, don't get hated on as a man, tbf people are a bit friendlier to me now but it could be because I've gotten more social since starting HRT. But I haven't seen some impossibly large gap in quality of life for either. Stop making a mountain out of a molehill.

>>
>>45013619
being a woman sucks, but a key part that i think is important not to forget is that being a pre-transition trans woman also sucks
even as a child, kids and adults can clock that you're different if you don't conform to how a boy 'should' act. you get bullied. you're at a greater risk of being groomed or otherwise sexually abused by adults.
some trans women adapt and manage to push these traits out of themselves until they later transition and blend in, others remain uncanny inbetween individuals who are grouped in with neither the guys nor the girls
there are upsides, since you can make female friends more easily, but the choice between transitioning and not transitioning isn't "do i want to be a woman or do i want to be a man", it's "do i want to be a woman or do i want to be a sacrificial lamb"
>>
>>45013619
idk, why are you so retarded? lots of things in life aren't an active choice, it's simply a state of wanting to be. a collection of material conditions that asserts your life to go a certain way or believe certain things about yourself. being miserable as a man and wanting to actually peel your skin off with a razor is worse than being a woman. being a trans woman is worse than being a cis woman, but better than being a fake cis male who wants to flay their own skin. why is this so hard to understand? is this some bait? why are you so stupid? why do you imply that someone's perception of self and who they feel they are internally is some kind of choice? I don't understand people like you. do you do anything in real life? are you a real person? you're just so stupid when you ask shit like this it baffles me. just because you have some internalized view of the world such that you want to be the epitome of power doesn't mean people who are content with the physical realities of womanhood don't understand it. being a trans terf has got to be some of the most cucked shit in existence. fuck you
>>
>>45013619
I don't want to, I am, actually I wanted to man up at some point, I felt so pathetic, so weak but nothing I did worked, it wasn't for me, I was just tired of being pushed around and not taken seriously, or course now I believe it is the most retarded thing ever.
>>
>>45015012
>Sounds like (You) never had cisf friends tell you in middle school they get catcalled and harassed in the street by men in their 30-40s
I’m not poor or brown so I don’t live in an area like this
>Sounds like (You) never had female family members verbally and physically abused by their male counterparts in front of the family
Again, not brown or poor so correct, this didn’t happen
>Sounds like (You) never witnessed teachers belittling female classmates and pairing them with the loudest male classmates to placate them
Lmao, we’re seriously pretending that teachers aren’t way biased in favour of the female students now? Hyper-delusion
>>
>>45016908
I want to be a woman but I'm male down to the core of my being :(
>>
>>45016964
>you're at a greater risk of being groomed or otherwise sexually abused
Why do you think that is the case ?
>>
>>45017184
the reason i've seen cited the most is that without likeminded peers to look to and the real world being hostile, you're more likely to withdraw into online spaces and take any opportunity to connect with people who are "like you" even if it comes at the cost of your innocence
>>
>>45016650
For me, it's mostly that I want to be able to get pregnant and give birth to my own children, and that's impossible without a period.

Basically: it's not the period; it's what the period means.
>>
>>45017627
I guess that makes sense, but count your blessings. The pain varies by individual biology, but for some it is grueling. For context, I have a high pain tolerance. I went a month with a broken arm as a kid without realizing it was broken (I thought I just sprained it). Actually I think I might have endometriosis. I’m getting tested for it later this month.
My point is, be grateful you don’t have to endure the physical pain, even though you do have to deal with the pain of dysphoria
>ftm butchmoder repper
>>
>>45016922
>f2m cannot understand m2f
>and vice versa
I think its mostly the ones not attracted to their birth sex (gay ftms and transbians) who probably can't understand the most. I like men and how they look, I just didn't want to be one. I have ftm friends and while I can't relate to a lot of their struggles there is a lot we have in common and its amazing to see them transition.
>>
>>45017686
nta but I have mixed feelings about these things. I don't actually want to have periods, but I would have liked the possibility of having children. I think for me its also the idea that its one more way in which I am different and not "normal" and can't relate to other women about. When I get over it, it is a small blessing that I don't have to get a period every month, because it does sound pretty awful.
>>
>>45017686
This is something you can't understand, and should be mature enough to understand why you can't understand it as a trans man.

"At least you don't have periods" reaches the ears of trans women as "this thing about the sex I already hate being will never apply to you, thing that is not a real woman." Find a trans guy who has devastating genital dysphoria and ask them what having a vagina feels like in trying to fulfill a sexual role with a partner and you're just scratching the surface.

The most fundamental way humans divide their understanding of what makes men and women is women's capacity for motherhood with all of its attendant complications, and for trans women who yearn for that it isn't about the grass being greener, it's about being indisputably a woman and being able to create life. Not having that is agonizing, no matter what the disadvantages of having the right equipment are. I feel like this is the most fundamental definition of dysphoria and genuinely don't understand why people can't grasp this. Oh well.
>>
Maybe it's because you're pretending to be way dumber than you are.
I don't know why you want to hang around a bunch of people dumb enough to agree with those manufactured opinions.
