I get inspired by stupid menial stuff tbqh, like public signage or obscure history, and try to imagine clothes that capture what I find interesting about boring things. Then from that initial spark I dig through archives and try to come up with something wearable but not boring, which can be hard sometimes especially if I’m attached to a visual design but know it wouldn’t work for clothing

Then, in a way, one cheats: one reassembles, pastes together, puts it all in order. The order doesn’t come solely from outside, of course. What is order? It’s a form hidden in disorder.

In truth, I wrote this, or noted this down, while sitting in my bed, at the end of summer, around October; at the school of mourning I wrote this, in my bed. Which never happens to me. Except in the case of dreams. That is, I write in the dream and I write down my dreams while asleep. But writing during the day—never. And in this case, yes. It was just before October. It was already October. And I took notes very quickly as summer was coming to an end, life, death, coming to an end.
